COMMUNICATION OR CENSORSHIP?

Lee Camp seems to be a censor magnet.  Nobody should be, if we could assume Free Speech and intellectual honesty….. read more

ANTI-SOCIAL LEADERSHIP

The following news stories encourage the opinion that greed may be at the bottom of many of the troubles of society, including poverty and war.  These are topics that should be aired openly and discussed from the view of different people.  As one with an overriding concern for the environment and opposition to Climate Change, the health of people and nature are the subject. read more

PATTERNS OF SUPPRESSION

Patterns are fascinating and informative.  Despotic tendencies break down into components that can be less identifiable as suppressive.  These components may seem individual but may also culminate in a common result.  Several such components follow read more

CENSORSHIP

As one who is surely not an expert on the topic of communicable disease, one found the gain-of-function research conversation to be fascinating and frightening.  The most worrisome part of the discussion raised concerns about censorship and reliance on self-described experts.   read more

THE STATE AND CAPITALISM

The bait-and-switch heard in the USA that capitalism is anti-state is used along with lies that capitalism uses free-market concepts.  But the most dangerous lie from capitalistic hierarchy is that US-current ideoogy about anti-state-ness is unshackled from imperialism and colonialism.  The blatant FACT of requirement of The Military-Industrial Complex to maintain global supremacy by American oligarchs should be a topic of discussion. read more

TERROR OF SOCIALISM

The capitalistic hierarchy that disdains the concept of worker-owned co-op business, may insinuate a notion that the lifeblood of business, which is the worker, is outside of the mechanism and therefore unworthy of standards of employment.  Laws to protect workers have a low chance of passing when lawmakers are contained in positions of power by big-money campaign donations from big-money and commercial interests.  Capitalism is the protection of hierarchy, not of workers.  This isn’t the concept of free markets, but seems more nearly indenture. read more

INSTITUTIONALIZED CONFUSION

That “we are a 2-Party system”  is misinformation from the Democratic-Party corporation and the Republican-Party corporation, which in collaboration illegitimately purport to “run American elections”.  This is not specified as legitimate in the US Constitution.  In contrast, 3rd-Party Greens are expressing their platform in NYS in the election for governor.  Political Parties should participate in elections; political-Party corporations aren’t sanctioned to run elections.  This isn’t the Former USSR. read more

US IN THE MIRROR

And by US, one means us, not USA.
What won’t money buy in the USA of material stuff, power, and influence.  Not much.  The same doesn’t apply to human rights or environmental rights, in which the opposite seems to be the FACT.

TWO-PARTY SYSTEM IS A LIE

C-Span is valuable for the individual-citizen call-in ability to voice opinions.  Again this morning, a caller expressed his concern that political Parties offer only 1 opinion, when 2 opinions are available. Really?  Only 2? and so goes disability of imagination, indoctrination, and/or total brainwashing.  How are so many Americans so convinced that only 2 opinions are available?  Join the real world, people. Expand your ideas, open your ears, and walk into the sunshine and breathe the clean air.  (Deciding not to say “crawl out from under the rock”)….. read more

FASCISM OUT OF THE CLOSET

A problem on the topic of fascism is that, until authoritarian exploitation of human resources (people) or natural resources (environment) becomes noticeable, the money is nice.  A governance based on :”the economy” can be a euphemism for dictatorship.  It is easy to overlook corruption when money is being generated, and this includes our nation of shareholders.  Add to this the highly questionable policy of Citizens United by which lawmakers are purchased by big-money interests, and supposedly monitoring sources such as the Federal Reserve, which is supposed to maintain balance in “the economy”, has over a decade kept too low, interests.  Keeping interest rates abnormally low has forced family savings accounts into the stock market that can be considered speculative.  Low interest rates may also promote inflation.   read more

COALESCENCE OF NATURE AND PEOPLE

Bureaucracy requires winners and losers in order to stay in control of the public.  The majority of local-community members want to live their personal lives according to their own wishes, in peace and dignity.  Wars are perpetrated for the promotion of hierarchy and generally for the interests and profits of the wealthy.  The obscenely wealthy generally didn’t gain their positions according to principles of restraint and self-awareness.  Anyone must acknowledge the work that goes into becoming wealthy as defined by oligarchy, but at that level a line often has been crossed.  Use of said wealth to pass laws favorable to what has come to be called “the economy” exacerbates the corruption. read more

JANE MUST EXPLAIN

PEACE AND LIBERTY

What is the message that is sent either accidentally or intentionally sent by John Lennon as he mimics the stance of our Lady Liberty?  Can we manifest both liberty and peace? read more

DEVIL IN THE DETAILS

Propaganda seems to be the hierarchical spewing of their perspective in language that seems to forestall the willingness of too many recipients of said information to see the details beyond the rhetoric.  Is this the framework used by dictators? read more
