POLITICS EXTRAORDINAIRE
Our Republican Legacy discussion this morning on C-Span is crucial and relevant.
WHERE DID THE CIVIL RIGHTS GO?

WHERE DID THE CIVIL RIGHTS GO?
C-Span hosted a heart-wrenching discussion about the civil rights movement and the ’60”s.
RELIGION AND POLITICS

Institutionalized religion seems to have permeated the US government. This may or may not be beneficial to We The People, but an anomaly seems worthy of note. In our Christian nation, one wonders how many of We The People have read straight through, the Old Testament and New Testament. Most of us have been subjected to highlights from the Old Testament, when which highlights in themselves can be a type of propaganda.
MAY DAY

May Day is an American holiday. Who knew?
https://www.rbth.com/lifestyle/330314-may-first-in-russia –May 1 became International Labor Day after the tragedy at Haymarket Square in Chicago, Illinois, USA. In early May 1886, demonstrations were held in Chicago and other US cities demanding an eight-hour working day. WE’LL HOLD YOUR COAT

A reason some people trust the Green Party is the ability and willingness to discuss differences of opinion on topics crucial to our political system and our foreign affairs.

This is the reason diversity in news sources is important, along with individuals who are aware enough to compare and investigate upon one’s own.
CONSIDER HISTORY ASIDE FROM INSTITUTIONS

I’m interested in those with the courage to look behind the curtain, so to speak. One way to do so is to research history; and in particular history pertaining to people rather than institutions.
3 MEN IN A ROOM POLITICS

The public has no idea what goes on behind closed doors pertaining to politics. In NYS this was called 3-men-in-a-room politics. Or was it 2-men? Who knows?
REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC IMPLIES DEMOCRACY IN ELECTIONS

C-Span hosted a call-in on the topic of swing voters and independent voters and how they would vote on Tuesday.
WHILE WE STILL HAVE FREE SPEECH

Aside from teaching Native American history in schools, one was interested to watch MSM hosts, during the Queen Elizabeth funeral, bring up the topic of monarchy and the FACT of treatment of Indigenous People in the many colonies of UK, without mentioning that one of these colonies was the USA pre-Revolution, with devastation of Native Americans that continued from the beginning to the current day. This seems to be a special level of oppression of Native Americans.
IT’S THE DUOPOLY, STUPID….

What do MAGA voters and the Democratic Base have in common? Some people could guess, the commonality is being hoodwinked by separate branches of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly.
WHY IS LIFE EXPECTANCY DROPPING?

In a nation where the life expectancy continues to drop and water is unavailable to growing numbers of people, we might question funding of foreign wars that seems beneficial to American oligarchs but at the cost of US citizens.
