ESTABLISHMENT WAGONS HITCHED TO COMMUNITY STARS

Hierarchical Establishment types may have begun to notice the success when locally-supportive people work plans for lifestyle that are logical, effective, and fair.  Sensible would be a change away from the depravity of capitalistic process toward more people-friendly systems.  Instead it feels like Establishment is attempting to hitch their wagon to the stars of local community.  read more

WEIRD NATION

A realistic look at ourselves needs a strong dose of comedy.  Views that are totally bogus are given too much credence without humor. read more

SERIOUS ABOUT NATURAL RIGHTS

If manufacturing and industry is the goal, we’re possibly on the right track.  If the goal is viable life on Earth, a few changes are in order.  Natural rights encompass people and nature, because we are of The Creator, in whatever way each imagines Her/Him, It, or Cause-And-Effect. read more

WHAT PART OF DREAMS IS REALITY?

Heard on a Bill Moyers discussion years ago—paraphrase—–governments don’t do democracy, people do democracy.

PREDATORY INFLATION

The story of several oligarchs pulling strings behind the scenes obscures the more relevant story of institutionalized hierarchical process that feels too similar to a Pyramid Scheme economy.  Fascism may more nearly be the correct definition since the system is held in place less by persuasion and more by laws. read more

NATURAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY

C-Span hosted a discussion about the US history of wire taps.  Also mentioned seemed to be the view that such surveillance as used by tyrannical government in modern times, originated and were perfected in the USA.  That’s an interesting notion if FACTual. read more

SHIP OF FOOLS

To provide relief to targets of predatory debt and educational institutions, mirrors similar approaches by government to the disease-care industry.  In both scenarios the middleman is protected at the expense of the targets and byway of politicians bought into public “service” via Citizens United who are deft at maintaining the structure which is capitalistic hierarchical Establishment that in another place and time could be called dictatorship, and that has little to do with free market principles. read more

NATIONAL SECURITY AND SECRETS

So the same Administration that welcomed Russia’s Lavrov into the White House without transparent journalism provided for the information of We The People, and with Trump meeting privately with Russia’s Putin without availability of journalism to provide information to other bureaucrats, politicians, or We The People, also spied on journalists meeting with Assange in UK, when said Assange is investigated in a role of whistle blower who reported on US war crimes. read more

WHEN OLIGARCHS ARE WORRIED

Dimon may be pessimistic because, while those of his ilk have benefited from the US government run via capitalism, FACTually speaking this isn’t a free market system, is more nearly authoritarian than democratic, and on a continuum seems to be organized crime.  Why would those in privileged positions be worried about the system?  Perhaps in the end the best system would be our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic is better than capitalism. read more

THE TRANSFER OF WEALTH TO THE WEALTHY IS GOING WELL

To simply understand 2 separate Trump bureaucratic policy enactments may raise questions.  “Tax cuts” are the rallying cry of Conservatives, and some of the electorate who may be non-wealthy seem to imagine they are included in said tax cuts, when FACTually only the wealthy and most often commercial interests may be the beneficiaries.  This seems to be the case in the Trump tax cut of January 2018.  Coincidentally also enacted was what seems to be a tax increase on mostly low-income Americans in the Trump tariff enactment. read more

BREAK THROUGH

C-Span hosted a discussion this morning on the topic of ranked choice voting.  The benefits of choice using ranked choice are entering the thought process of more voters, and may one suggest due to efforts by 3rd-Party voices.  The D&R duopoly haven’t spread information about ranked choice voting benefits to voters for obvious reasons of control that underwrites the authoritarian character of the duopoly.  This also raises the topic of the influence of 3rd-Party voices that may have been censored by regulations from the  R&D duopoly, that have still managed to censor said voices off of ballots and away from debates, but but which 3rd- Parties nonetheless have broken through to some of the electorate by nothing more than moral authority. read more

DE-INDOCTRINATION

Maybe not forever or for everyone, but surely this seems a lifestyle that should be available.  What if more communities offered de-indoctrination spaces?  Would mental health improve?  Could spiritual health be remembered?  read more

DILEMMA

Liz Cheney has acted as a supporter of democracy to an extent that caused personal harm to her, and she is anti-Choice and possibly pro-capitalist.  This seems to imply that a politician who is probably pro-capitalist, has valued democracy over hierarchical privilege. read more

THE “C” WORD

Lee Camp speaks of the delicacy with which capitalistic hierarchical Establishment avoids using the word capitalism, as the public begins to awaken to the reality that capitalism isn’t synonymous with democracy.  Capitalism is an economy theory.  Monetary systems are useful when We The People feel encumbered with hauling around a cow to trade for a barrel of apples, for example.  Capitalism is a perfectly valid system of economy.  In contrast, capitalism as a governing principle, in other places and times, were more honestly called fascism, communism, or perhaps dictatorship. read more

EQUALITY IN THE EYES OF DICTATORS

Aside from the obvious reality of the transfer of the wealth of the planet from the 100% to the 1%, a commensurate diminishing of equality and justice….surprise, surprise…..has happened.  Why is it legal for the upper echelon to put at risk US national security while members of the general public are incarcerated for, for example, jaywalking? read more
