INSTITUTIONALIZED CONFUSION

That “we are a 2-Party system”  is misinformation from the Democratic-Party corporation and the Republican-Party corporation, which in collaboration illegitimately purport to “run American elections”.  This is not specified as legitimate in the US Constitution.  In contrast, 3rd-Party Greens are expressing their platform in NYS in the election for governor.  Political Parties should participate in elections; political-Party corporations aren’t sanctioned to run elections.  This isn’t the Former USSR.

The power corporations wield in 2022 have arrived via laws passed by politicians who have been bought into public office by campaign donations from big-money interests that have been legalized without being legitimized by Citizens United.  Collaboration between big-money interests and purchased politicians seem to continue within www.alec.org.  This system seems like fascism, with players reminding We The People that “we are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional republic”.  This seems to be a linguistic barrier to Free Speech that is the way democracy manifests. The above ideas also require a reminder that Corporate-Charter Revocation has been removed from US policy as a way for local-communities to control our own destiny against corporate power and greed.             https://reclaimdemocracy.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/hidden_corporate_history.pdf      –Today, corporations wield immense power over our government, public lands, even our schools. That the topic of fossil fuels is implicated in rhetoric about the military actions in Eastern Europe have resulted in calls from pro-fracking advocates for the USA to promote this industry due to the military action, underscores the politics of the USA toward Ukraine over 3 Presidential Administrations, that delved into the fossil fuel industries in the Ukraine by American oligarchs/politicians.  This raises serious questions as to whether NATO is less of a defensive organization than it is an offensive organization.
We also hear expression that we must frack in the USA to curb inflation.  FACTually it has been reported that rising fuel prices have directly resulted in enhanced profits by fossil fuel companies, which suggests inflation isn’t caused by dwindling fuel supplies, but rather by higher prices set by corporations.

Local authorities ended the investigation after questioning family members and other immigrants and then told the victim’s family to “let it go.” The mystery of his death, and of his life, mirror those of the time. So much about radicalism, socialism, and societal problems of the 1920s is glossed over in favor The Great Gatsby-esque narratives where the glitter and glitz cover a seedy underbelly only for the upper class and the stories of working class immigrants fighting for meaningful change can be forgotten.

Too many instances happen of non-democratic municipal action, for example in the Southern Tier of NYS, with a recent action highlighting questionable governance—-https://www.wbng.com/2022/04/28/town-vestal-holds-public-hearing-regarding-retreat-bunn-hill-motion-designation-property/    —
“I’m trying to get both sides of this. So I’m just wondering on the record,” said the 12 News reporter. “If the supreme court shut this down, why are you guys bringing this back? In your own words, what’s so enticing about this project for our area?”“Jill, this is not a Q&A, we’re just listening to the people. You can call my office or stop in and talk to Victor anytime you want,” said Town of Vestal Supervisor John Schaffer. “He’ll fill you in and I’ll fill you in on what I know. Thank you for calling, bye.”Before the April 27 meeting, 12 News asked the town supervisor via email for a Zoom chat request for prior to the meeting. Up to this point from airing the report, our station has not received a reply.During the April 27 Zoom, a motion was held to approve or deny the designation of the property as a ‘planned development district’ within the town of Vestal. The motion was approved.–end of wbng info——-This is good journalism, by the way.

The Southern Tier of NYS has a recent history of questionable interaction by bureaucrats toward honest, involved, and responsible citizens.  This is the platform from which a cadre of Sheriffs have called for “a crack down on activists”, insultingly referring to said involved citizens.  This is the Town of Vestal in which law enforcement warned a public-safety advocate that he could be labeled a domestic terrorist due to having used the phrase “bomb truck” to describe vehicles hauling liquified gas on our public roads among family vehicles, ambulances, school buses, and young drivers.
In other words, authority is testing its limits against our hotbed of responsible citizens.
The electrical infrastructure has experienced outages recently…in FACT twice in 1 week, the first lasting 4 days in frigid weather.  These outages are increasing, and even a 30 mph wind gust seems capable of shutting down the system.  Meanwhile, Gillibrand has formed a committee to travel the globe to gather resources and support for the Ukraine during the War with Russia.  Schumer is supportive of The Military-Industrial Complex which it may be assumed donate to political campaigns, and thrive from war.  Schumer also seems to be artful in pushing new technology that is unproven for safety and need, such as the 5G network, while neglecting basic technology such as our local electrical grid.   This raises questions about using military to enforce interests of American oligarchs around the world that is labeled as “spreading democracy around the world and/or protecting US interests overseas”.  Meanwhile local US communities are becoming accustomed to ostensible 3rd-world conditions.  This could be called bait-and-switch and/or churning.  Planned obsolescence also seems probable.
And Tenney is MIA, apparently awaiting the 2nd coming of Trump.
The curiously disregarding attitude from the Vestal Town Board, as reported on WBNG local news, is highlighted by the phrase “this isn’t a Q&A”.   No doubt.   Authority doesn’t like questions.  Too bad the dream of the Sheriffs of “cracking down on activists” isn’t….as yet…..in place.  Bureaucrats could wield more than snide insolence toward community members who ask questions at Town Board meetings.
And Predictably we are hearing “drill, baby, drill” nonsense from some people in the Southern Tier, as though drilling for fossil fuels which use is creating the extraordinary weather that shuts down energy grids in the USA is worth supporting the Ukraine for fascism, or that fossil fuels would provide integrity to the energy grid.  The double talk is epic.
As to the War between the Ukraine and Russia, so few Americans seem to talk about, care about, or are aware of the years-long interference by American oligarchs, some with ties to public office holders, in the European fossil fuel industry.  NATO is an instrument of solidifying this interference.

From lakotalaw — Several weeks back, my wife, Felipa, and I traveled from our home in South Dakota to visit Native communities around Thacker Pass. On that trip, we brought buffalo, donated by the Intertribal Buffalo Council of South Dakota, for feeds in Salt Lake City and Nevada to uplift and encourage the people. We discovered both amazing relatives and appalling conditions in several communities. We were particularly struck by the poverty and patterns of violence suffered by the people of the Fort McDermitt Paiute-Shoshone Tribe. What a blessing it was, then, to be invited back to reconnect with our relatives there and participate in some important healing activities last week.As April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, our trip could not have been better timed. On April 23rd, as shown in our new video, we joined the Fort McDermitt community for some hard but very good conversations and a powerful walk against sexual violence and child abuse.Wherever Felipa and I go, we mean to bring good energy and uplift everybody we meet. We stand together with our relatives, relying for strength on our culture, Lakota spirituality, and each other as human beings and Indigenous people. At Fort McDermitt, our goal was to help raise awareness about the violence happening in a community ravaged by joblessness (the unemployment rate is well over 80 percent there), a lack of healthcare, and the absence of responsible law enforcement. All of that results in heartbreaking patterns of assaults and domestic, drug, and alcohol abuse. As part of our journey, we talked with Tribal Chair Maxine Redstar, a strong matriarch with a good heart and firm understanding that something must be done. We also talked with Rose Curtis, an unci who shared her personal story with us and helped create the “I believe you” child abuse awareness campaign featured in our video. While centuries of colonial violence have perpetuated these issues in our communities, no attempt to erase us has worked — and we will keep fighting for our children and all relatives who suffer violence. As our communities participate in the national week of action around missing and murdered relatives, we send heartfelt condolences across Turtle Island to all who have lost family and friends. Mitakuye oyasin — we are all related.Wopila tanka — thank you for your care and solidarity!
