DEMOCRATIZING THE ECONOMY

As long as we’re going to fixate on the economy rather than principles of our democratic Constitutional republic, we could start by democratizing the economy. read more

PRIORITIZE HEALTH

The US government seems more involved in policing the globe than protecting the US public.  Lack of a 1-payer universal health care policy is an example, at the same time the Pentagon is absorbing the wealth of the nation with no accountability and in FACT with disturbing evidence of having misplaced $22,000,000,000,000 (with a T) of taxpayer money.  C-Span hosted a discussion in which a caller questioned the reason for foreign aid to Israel, that is a wealthy nation.  Where is that money going and to what end?  Why is a wealthy foreign nation prioritized over a US public that is in need? read more

RECOGNIZE SUPPRESSION

When the Republican branch of the duopoly are in power they investigate the Democratic branch of the duopoly and vice versa.  This is an excellent bi-partisan deflection that keeps in power our 2-Party system and the oligarchy behind it.    Meanwhile local-community members around the globe and including the USA are warned we “must sacrifice” read more

THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ENTRENCHED INTERESTS

Climate Change and exploitation is probably due to a lack of imagination by Americans along with a troubling propensity to rally to the support of entrenched interests.   read more

LOOK BEHIND THE CURTAIN

One is under informed about the details of the following story about Brazil to analyze the contents.  But where one finds symptoms it is logical to look for a disease.  We know democracy is diminishing at an alarming rate around the globe ad most markedly in the supposed bastion of democracy called the USA.  Hierarchy are gaining wealth at the expense of the majority of humanity and this is explained by “running government like a business”.   Climate Change is too obvious to be denied by any other than the most dedicated environmental exploiters.  Climate Change is a price paid by Earth and humanity to promote hierarchical Establishment financial interests. read more

THE TRANSFER OF WEALTH TO THE WEALTHY IS GOING WELL

To simply understand 2 separate Trump bureaucratic policy enactments may raise questions.  “Tax cuts” are the rallying cry of Conservatives, and some of the electorate who may be non-wealthy seem to imagine they are included in said tax cuts, when FACTually only the wealthy and most often commercial interests may be the beneficiaries.  This seems to be the case in the Trump tax cut of January 2018.  Coincidentally also enacted was what seems to be a tax increase on mostly low-income Americans in the Trump tariff enactment. read more

COOPERATION AND COMPETITION

How workable is it to have both cooperation and competition?  This feels like the message inherent in current Establishment rhetoric that is embedded within capitalistic hierarchy.  The oxymoron of urging competition and cooperation provides space for authority to lightly skip from one message to another in a way that confuses and controls.  Competition is the message to explain free market principles within capitalism which itself is an oxymoron, proven by run-away inflation.  Cooperation is the message of required patience by the public as hierarchy sends our manufacturing and good-paying jobs overseas for maximized profiteering.   read more

DEFINE NATIONAL SECURITY

Mitch McConnell graced us with his view about expanded funding for The Military-Industrial Complex to enhance national security.  The view from Mitch McConnell is predictable when one considers reports of his familial connections to commercial interests in China.  National security for American oligarchs is often imagined in terms of “protecting American interests overseas” which is commercial interest in foreign nations.   read more

DELUDED INTO INANITY

As one who is deeply unconcerned with another person amassing financial wealth, one does however object to the violence, aggression and tyranny said person presumes due to that accumulation of finances over human sentiment.  Those purchased by that wealth is a personal choice.  The harm to unconnected people and nature is another thing.  Presumption by hierarchy to influence emotionally the public, and includes efforts of the well-paid entertainment industry, will continue to highlight Russian oligarchs as though there are no American oligarchs, as they protect their own territory of wealth and privilege.   read more

CAN WE ENTRUST THE PUBLIC WITH MONEY?

Hierarchy is hierarchy by indoctrination of enough of the public that supremacy for a few is a good idea for everyone.  That idea may not be the FACTual.  Capitalism promised that unlike it’s co-authoritarian system of communism, capitalism would keep down costs, increase general lifestyle for the most people, and would ensure empty store shelves would not happen.  The evidence suggests differently.  Public/private partnerships seem a hierarchical shell game to transfer wealth from the public sector to private commerce.  Under the commercial system Climate Change is expanding and worsening.  Citizens United has legalized the corruption of ownership of legislators by commercial interests.  This seems corrupt. read more

IF THE STATEMENT IS OBVIOUS IT MAY BE A FACT

At the risk of “stating the obvious” which in the mind of some people is a FACT, in our oligarchy we have the choice of supporting this anomaly of government by either carrying a burdensome national debt or by each individual carrying debilitating personal debt.  Another option is to challenge obscene wealth, fraud, and corruption. read more

FEAR OF CHANGE

An argument heard from too many politicians seems to reflect a fear of change.  Away from what comes with change?  So far we have wealth inequality protected by law rather than free market principles, political Parties that protect themselves rather than principles of the US Constitution, a judicial system that ensures it is better to be rich and guilty than poor and innocent, Climate Change, and imperialism, to name a few of the changes politicians fear to challenge.  We also have the propaganda that capitalism is synonymous with democracy, which it is not.  Voices other than supporters of this system are censored.  Censorship is associated more with hierarchy than with democracy.  So let’s consider change. read more
