We need to make sense of those who are saving Ukrainians while ignoring the same oppression of Native people in the USA. Exploitation by hierarchical Establishment is done in mass, and against nature. Protection of local communities is not the goal of hierarchical Establishment, any more than it is the goal toward nature.
Without having an understanding of Native American culture, one has heard somewhere that the unique dance steps are a connection of the dancer with Mother Earth, and therefore a prayer. One mentions this only to answer any defense of inflicting foreign established institutionalized religion on those who were conveniently and erroneously labeled as savages. The same redistribution of the wealth of the nation occurs when spent on renewable and sustainable infrastructure or 1-payer public health care.
Explanations about the good from war stop short of the same about alternative uses of the wealth of the nation, that doesn’t kill or destroy the environment.
