COOPERATION AND COMPETITION

How workable is it to have both cooperation and competition?  This feels like the message inherent in current Establishment rhetoric that is embedded within capitalistic hierarchy.  The oxymoron of urging competition and cooperation provides space for authority to lightly skip from one message to another in a way that confuses and controls.  Competition is the message to explain free market principles within capitalism which itself is an oxymoron, proven by run-away inflation.  Cooperation is the message of required patience by the public as hierarchy sends our manufacturing and good-paying jobs overseas for maximized profiteering.

As a NY’er who pays energy bills that ultimately are supported from Spain, one is interested in electric co-ops that are local and imply keeping the wealth close to home.  Apparently China has also understood the idea of keeping wealth close to home.

These cascading and interlocking problems have pushed governments to prioritize economic self-sufficiency and food security.

China is leading the way in this struggle. Beijing has shown how to strengthen food sovereignty, and simultaneously fight poverty, with a multi-pronged approach that combines state-funded agricultural cooperatives, stockpiling of nonperishable staples, a crackdown on waste, and government investment in new technologies.–end of mronline info–

In the US capitalistic hierarchical Establishment we hear Joe Biden spit out the word competition like poison, when perhaps cooperation would support a healthier society.

As for Ukraine, is the USA importing or exporting said Nazis?—–https://mronline.org/2022/06/03/dhs-concerned-over-nazis-returning-to-u-s-after-fighting-in-ukraine/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=dhs-concerned-over-nazis-returning-to-u-s-after-fighting-in-ukraine&mc_cid=c187b13634&mc_eid=2833cdb99b  —

As the United States undergoes a national mourning process over a spate of mass shootings, American white nationalists with documented histories of violence are attaining combat experience with advanced U.S.-made weapons in a foreign proxy war.

That’s according to the Department of Homeland Security, which has been gathering intelligence on Americans who have joined the ranks of the more than 20,000 foreign volunteers in Ukraine.

But one thing is for certain: the Biden administration is allowing the Ukrainian government to recruit Americans–including violent extremists–at its embassy in Washington DC and at consulates across the country.–end of mronline info–

The same citizens believing “we are a 2-Party system”, which the USA is not, may also believe the Republican/Democratic duopoly indoctrination that a 1-payer health care system will preclude choice by the patient of a provider.  Consider the FACTS about a 1-payer health care system——-http://healthjusticemonitor.org/        —Summary: Today we take a step back to review a fundamental issue – the definition of single payer. Also its typical features and options. Why? Because sometimes we get lost in technical details, and forget the big picture. And too often experts get confused, and thus confuse others.

Comment by: Jim Kahn

It drives me to distraction when health policy researchers, journalists, medical journals, and critics misrepresent single payer. This has come up several times in recent months. I guess it’s understandable, with all the misinformation that’s floating around. But I’m eager to settle on a single, correct definition. Here’s my attempt…

At the same time, President Joe Biden is endorsing a plan to funnel significantly more Medicare money to insurance companies and further privatize the government insurance program for older Americans and those with disabilities.

Help protect the St. Louis River and Lake Superior from PolyMet mine increases in downstream toxic mercury contamination of fish and pollution that kills aquatic life.

The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa has exercised its rights under the Clean Water Act Section 401(a)(2) to object to the U.S. Army Corps PolyMet federal wetlands destruction permit on the grounds that the PolyMet mine would contaminate its reservation waters on the St. Louis River with toxic mercury. No federal agency has previously recognized a Tribe’s right to object to federal permits as a downstream state, and no Tribe has ever exercised these rights. It is vital that all communities support the Band’s rights and our State’s clean water.

The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.
