MERCENARY NATION

MERCENARY NATION

So the USA now backs whatever nation and war that pays our politicians to like them. Then We The People are mandated by law to support these oligarchs/politicians by viewing nations of their choice as either friends or enemies.

House passes GOP antisemitism bill amid college unrest– https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/house-vote-gop-antisemitism-bill-amid-college-unrest/story?id=109830325— Several Democrats took issue with the alliance’s definition of antisemitism and some of the contemporary examples on antisemitism listed by the group. Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler, who is Jewish, said he took issue with the bill because it would put the “thumb on the scale” in favor of one definition of antisemitism and could “chill” constitutionally-protected free speech. Nadler voted against the bill.

One supposes Congress didn’t wish to pass a bill outlawing protest against anti-war protests; so the next best move was to outlaw Free Speech against criticism of the genocidal Israel government that pays our lawmakers to do their bidding.

One notices a growing number of Americans are calling out the sycophantic character of our politicians who seem to work for the big-money interest that pays them, rather than for We The People—

While on the topics of fairness and justice, one must mention an example of our 2-tiered justice system with Trump-the-skunk (one person’s uninformed imaginative definition) who is creating his own category of citizen under our laws.  One watches for politicians to jump on this bandwagon.  Consider treatment of the striped mammal as compared to the following; who may or may not be innocent or guilty, but who is under attack from Mr. Skunk.—

Ex-Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby says she’s done ‘absolutely nothing wrong’

Former Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby appeared on MSNBC on Wednesday ahead of her sentencing in federal court and declared that she’s done “absolutely nothing wrong” and asserted that she was “politically targeted.”

In an interview on “The ReidOut” with Joy Reid, Mosby, a Democrat who served two terms as the city’s top prosecutor from 2015 to 2023, said she thought that an online petition asking President Joe Biden to pardon her was appropriate.

Mosby said it “makes absolutely no sense, it’s illogical” that she would be separated from her two children for withdrawing “my own money” — an argument that U.S. District Judge Lydia Kay Griggsby prohibited the defense from making at trial.

Meantime, the pro-Israel lobby group regularly donates money to lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to push Tel Aviv’s agenda ahead.

AIPAC lobbyists have been Johnson’s top donors in 2023.

Last year, AIPAC poured tens of thousands of dollars into his campaign coffers just after he led the passage of a $14 billion aid package to Israel.

In 2023, AIPAC’s political action committee donated a total of $104,000 to Johnson with the majority of donations coming right after the Israeli war machine had launched the months-long genocidal war against the hapless Palestinians trapped in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Konstantin Nikolaev—the Putin ally behind Mike Johnson campaign donation  — A number of social media users have now brought up the campaign money amid Johnson’s opposition to the long-debated foreign aid bill, which would send $60 billion to Ukraine as the country continues to fight off Russia’s invasion.

So much money in the trough- House Speaker Mike Johnson to travel to Binghamton for event with Rep. Molinaro

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., will travel to Binghamton Thursday for an event with Republican U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro focused on law enforcement funding and public safety.

The Thursday meeting will be at the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and is said to feature sheriff’s deputies, neighboring law enforcement, other first responders and families.

Johnson’s trip comes as Molinaro seeks reelection in the 19th Congressional District. Broome County is the most-populous county there and could play a large role in in the upcoming election. Molinaro is being challenged by Democrat Josh Riley, who is from Endicott, a village just outside Binghamton. Molinaro flipped the seat in 2022, defeating Riley by about 4,500 votes.

The difficulty must be to decide how one’s vote will go, and which war to support next.  In the Southern Tier of NYS, this would be a good question for your Representative of The People.

Rsearch the remuneration to American politicians from the Israel government, that even the Israel citizens are questioning.  —

FEC Filing Shows AIPAC Made Record Donations to Congress in November– The largest recipient of AIPAC’s campaign support in November, which came by way of its PAC, was New York Democrat Rep. Ritchie Torres, who was profiled by the New York Times in November as an example of a young Democratic politician who has sided firmly with Israel, as opposed to those in the so-called “squad” of progressives who have spoken critically of the country’s military actions. AIPAC sent Torres more than $201,000 in donations from its PAC in November, according to the filing.

Judging from the comments one is hearing on C-Span, as the quality of our politicians and bureaucrats deteriorate, the awareness of We The People grows and is enhanced.

As an afterthought, one mentions a book that is not an easy read, but is fascinating and informative. – City of God by Saint Augustine – Paperback – from Papergoy (SKU: bi240-33)

This classic work is considered St. Augustine’s masterpiece. Augustine is to be one of the most influential Catholic thinkers since St. Paul. Read his thoughts about Catholic teaching, the world, believers, sin and more.

Thankfully it was the annotated version of this book, since I don’t wish to spend the remainder of my life reading nothing but St. Augustine.  You can also get involved in the full-length version that must be an eye-opener….maybe if I was younger—-

The Mystical City of God Set

Dictated to Venerable Mary of Agreda (1602–1665) by the Blessed Mother herself, The Mystical City of God is an amazing collection of four books of revelations about the life of Our Lady and the divine plan for creation and the salvation of souls that has been enthralling readers for centuries.

Sr. Mary of Agreda was a Franciscan abbess and spiritual writer from Spain.  She was a noted mystic and prolific writer who authored many books. Reports of her bilocation between Spain and the US (New Mexico and Texas) have been retold for centuries and inspired generations of Franciscan missionaries in the New World.

This book is composed of four volumes that summarize the life of Our Lady: the Conception, Incarnation, Transfixion, and Coronation. This magnificent narrative takes the reader through the various stages of the life of the Blessed Mother while revealing all sorts of interesting facts about salvation history.

St. Augustine must have written his book before the Roman Catholic Institutionalized conglomeration turned the spiritual into the economic.  America’s politicians who walk around with CHRISTIAN stamped upon their foreheads, could benefit by this read, if any of them have the capacity. Perhaps they would see in them that which any of We The People see in them..

And by the way, one sees the 2-tiered justice in the USA in similarities between the Trump/Mosby fiasco and the antisemitism/Palestinian nonsense.  Protection for one and not for the other……and then how can one avoid the actuality of skin color?  Should we consider an anti racism bill, to monitor our bureaucrats and politicians?  They appear to be on the verge of the edge.

One thought leads to another.  If bills are passed against antisemitism, which sentiment is a terrible reality, is the bill about religion or politics?  And if our “Christian” lawmakers, after they have read St. Augustine as one supposes they must, in order to self-clarify their self-identification, will they pass an antiChristian bill outlawing comments on religion, and would this be political or religious?  How better to control We The People in a backhanded labyrinth.
