RELIGION AND POLITICS
Institutionalized religion seems to have permeated the US government. This may or may not be beneficial to We The People, but an anomaly seems worthy of note. In our Christian nation, one wonders how many of We The People have read straight through, the Old Testament and New Testament. Most of us have been subjected to highlights from the Old Testament, when which highlights in themselves can be a type of propaganda.
Add to this the FACT that Gospels included in the Bible are highly compliant to leaders in early institutionalized religion, and that neither the Old Testament or the Gospels left out of the Bible version of institutionalized religion, suggests something touched upon in the New Testament.
A simplified take-away of contents of the Old Testament seems to include little other than wars and conquests, with destruction of “enemies”. In other words, it may be a model for the foreign policy of some modern-day nations.
Meanwhile…. the New Testament seems used by those in power, to beat about the head and shoulders, We The People. The process of inquiring beyond the hierarchical facade is illuminating.
One brings in religion because first, politicians have done so. Switching to secular government, consider the intentions stated by The Founders when they urged We The People to avoid foreign entanglements.
In particular, The Founders suggested avoidance of foreign entanglements after The American Revolution in which a Monarchy that was an outgrowth from institutionalized religion in which lines of succession supposedly originated in religion, and was manifested in colonization of the homelands of other people, was the system juxtaposed against principles of the US Constitution.
Won’t these topics be wonderful subjects for debate by our political candidates?
http://ili.nativeweb.org/sdrm_art.html –When Christopher Columbus first set foot on the white sands of Guanahani island, he performed a ceremony to “take possession” of the land for the king and queen of Spain, acting under the international laws of Western Christendom. Although the story of Columbus’ “discovery” has taken on mythological proportions in most of the Western world, few people are aware that his act of “possession” was based on a religious doctrine now known in history as the Doctrine of Discovery. Even fewer people realize that today – five centuries later – the United States government still uses this archaic Judeo-Christian doctrine to deny the rights of Native American Indians.

An alarming new WaPo-ABC poll shows Joe Biden trailing both of the major Republican contenders by at least 5 points in a head-to-head match up. |
This poll also reveals a growing percentage of Democratic-leaning adults who want someone other than Biden to be the nominee. |

If the following sounds depressingly similar to government in the USA, one considers that corruption is less about nation than it is about system. Add to this the hierarchical Establishment definition of democracy that is so similar to the functioning of capitalism, and the joke is on the public.https://consortiumnews.com/2023/05/08/ukraines-big-mistake/?eType=EmailBlastContent&eId=86f3dbef-4fbc-4b22-9375-4d39b37c4815 —
The new owners of capital needed politicians to make laws in their favour and bureaucrats to make administrative decisions that were to their advantage. The capitalists also needed judges to rule in their favour when there were disputes and prosecutors to turn a blind eye when, as happened routinely, the entrepreneurs functioned outside the law. To perform all these services, the politicians and officials charged bribes, which allowed them to amass their own capital and, in many cases, to found their own businesses.
Finally, there were the criminal networks that had always operated within Soviet society, but that now found their prospects multiplied. In the last years of the U.S.S.R., the rule of law became weak or non-existent. This created huge opportunities not just for theft and fraud, but also for criminal stand-over men. If you were a business operator and needed a contract enforced, the way you did it was by hiring a group of “young men with thick necks.”
Today, numerous members of the left simply lack the methodological equipment to understand the Ukraine issue — which is, to be fair, fiendishly complex.–end of consortiumnews info–

Russia is our enemy and one would be very careful about any information placed on RT. At the same time, censorship by US MSM is an impetus to search for information outside of MSM . — https://www.rt.com/russia/575840-liberated-city-soledar-photo-report/?utm_source=browser&utm_medium=push_notifications&utm_campaign=push_notifications —

MSM has been instrumental in censorship of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who is running for President on the Democratic ticket. And so with due acknowledgement of suspicion of RT due to Russia being the enemy of the USA, when that is where transparency is possible, intellectual honesty suggests considering the information available there. — https://www.rt.com/news/575946-cia-killed-jfk-rfk-candidate/ –Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has alleged that the CIA was behind the assassination of his uncle, US President John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1963, and likely involved in the murder of his father, US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, who was shot dead in 1968.

Considering that secret information about the assassination of JFK was scheduled to be available to the public after 50 years, and that time came and went with continued suppression of information, is a topic for conversation.****
As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-
