Author and CNN political Analyst Bakari Sellers talked about his book, The Moment: Thoughts on the Race Reckoning That Wasn’t and How We All Can Move Forward Now.—end of Bakari Sellers info–

This discussion felt especially poignant because Mr. Sellers carried the attitude, apparently due to his parents who were deeply involved in the civil rights movement according to him, that is difficult to find in 2024.  Rather we have a MSM fantasy indoctrination of lifestyle that has infected both the women’s movement and the civil rights movement that made such strides in the ’60’s and ’70’s, and has been overlaid with patriarchal control in ’24.

One was blessed in the ’70’s to have been befriended by a ’60’s & ’70’s civil rights activist who had worked with MLK, Jr..  As young as I was at the time, I didn’t appreciate her wisdom and strength.  I wish I had been older at the time.  But even in the ’70’s, she warned me against Delta Sigma Theta of which she was a member, apparently for her personal tradition and politics.  She was a minority leader in the Southern Tier of NYS at the time.  She said some of the members were economic and social climbers and would…to use a cliche…..stab you in the back.  

The depth of dedication to upholding an actual rather than faux civil rights reality was actual.  She surely wasn’t in it for show, as wasn’t the people in the photo Mr. Sellers kept showing.  

It was my loss that I still had so much to learn, and she died so soon.  Mr. Sellers brought me to tears, as one too thick-skinned to often show emotion.

Velshi on MSNBC on Sunday morning hosted 2 of the “Tennessee 3”, Gloria Johnson and Jones.  Ms. Johnson was a teacher.  She brought up 4 tasks put on teachers that have nothing to do with teaching.  Most people don’t say this but ultimately teachers are required as foster parents as capitalistic hierarchical Establishment to reinforce their commercial bottom line by requiring servitude from Mom and Dad.  Ms. Johnson and Mr. Jones were interviewed about the new law passed that permitted teachers in Tennessee to carry guns, adding law enforcement to the list of teacher responsibilities, rather than strengthening gun laws.  So why is Establishment demanding more strict public law enforcement while demanding the public learn to defend themselves.  Velshi mentioned this law more nearly reinforces the demands of campaign donor lobbyists as the motivating factor.  In other words, our lawmakers and bureaucrats are working for big-money interests, not for we the people. Are law enforcement being used?  We The People surely are.

Another example was fortified in the Southern Tier of NYS, as the people of Vestal, NY reiterated their objection to a development project that set in place via a previous Administration, with the obnoxious excuse used in NYS, after non-notification to the public in time for democratic discussion, “it’s too late to stop the project now”.  This is a widespread example of dictatorship.

Controversial ‘Retreat at Bunn Hill’ plans to move forward—

At the start of April, the Vestal Town Board announced a survey to get resident’s opinions on the project. Monday night’s minutes state that Town Supervisor Maria Sexton said a majority of the surveys came back that they were not in favor of the project and were hoping to reverse the Planned Development District.

Town Attorney Dan Reynolds said the town would need a super-majority to repeal the Planned Development District and that it is a liability to the town. Additionally, Vestal would be dropped from its insurance company. Sexton said it’s too dangerous and believes that they will lose in court if they fight it.

Several members of the town board said that they have already a vested interest and permits have been issued and work has already begun on the project.

It’s not like we don’t have choices.  The same MSM that dictates their fantasy of a logical American lifestyle also censors away views other than that of Trump  and Biden, both of which are not acceptable choices for President.
