TODAY THE DEFLECTION IS AI
Look behind the curtain.
C-Span hosted an interesting view abut AI this morning. The recent commentary has been whether AI will take over humanity to the extent of replacement. AI, like for example the Industrial Revolution, will be whatever humanity lets it be.
CLIMATE CHANGE AND CHILDCARE
C-Span hosted conversations about Climate Change and childcare, both excellent topics that are too often sidelined in order that state/corporate media can promote the celebrity du jour (Biden and Trump).
PRC AND THE USA ARE BOTH REPUBLICS
Debates have become quite artificial and set up as a stage for Establishment. We need a debate with candidates who have different ideas aside from capitalistic Establishment. Debates are as structured as are elections due to corruption and money in the process. Politicians must have the ability to defend their policies in the presence of fellow candidates. Currently we have nothing but a reality show maintained for entertainment rather than informational value.
NEWS BY DEFLECTION
Weary as one becomes of setting the record straight, but due to MSM obfuscation, one supposes one must. So here goes——
SUICIDAL NATION
One feels enough hasn’t been stressed about the underlying rot of authoritarian governance that permeates the USA. Having lightly mentioned a topic that should be prominent in the concern of We The People, is the habit, as in addiction, of products foisted upon the public without assurance of safety.
WILL RULE BY AI BE WORSE THAN BY OLIGARCH?
A point can be made that we as a people are forgetting how to be human. Pockets of remembrance happen. Consider organic consumers
MENTAL HEALTH
Unstable mental health in the USA has been a topic of conversation lately. Perhaps we should speak of individual instances of inanity along with the societal attitudes that support instability.
DEFINE PROGRESS
Gentrification doesn’t impact only black communities, but is significant in rural regions where industrialization-for-energy-products have undermined long-standing and well-established communities. In FACT, the process isn’t only about industrialization, but has catered to campaign-donor interests who are often located outside of the region, over the interests of local communities. But the black community is an excellent place to start in rectification.
MONEY IS NOT SPEECH
One is grateful for reminders of the reality of the era of the ’70’s that can be characterized by involvement in social issues by young people. The issues eventually were captured into political camps for campaign purposes, as subtly as the young people were strained off to the service of those who could be suspected as being the perpetrators of the problems in he first place. Earth Day seems a great time to consider the underlying malevolence beneath the entirety.
NUANCE
C-Span is illuminating as usual. A caller spoke of the wealth of military equipment the USA has left around the globe, free for the taking by others. She implied this is a bad idea.
DICTATORSHIP OR ORGANIZED CRIME?
A time existed when posing this question would have felt uncomfortable. That ship has sailed.
COOPERATION OR COMPETITION?
The concept that “we’re only human” can be used as an excuse or an inspiration. The system of capitalism has been described as offering the greatest good to the most people. This may be true until it isn’t.
VITAL HUMANITY
Humanity is a much more interesting topic than capitalistic hierarchical Establishment wishes to acknowledge. “Western values” wrings out to cash, and that which must be removed is the heart and soul of people and nature, for profits. The system is effective because who doesn’t want cash, until you realize the cost is your soul and heart. Capitalistic hierarchical Establishment characters have recently alluded to the concern that AI would be dangerous to humanity, and one suggests also to nature. Better late than never to acknowledge.
