MONEY IS NOT SPEECH

One is grateful for reminders of the reality of the era of the ’70’s that can be characterized by involvement in social issues by young people.  The issues eventually were captured into political camps for campaign purposes, as subtly as the young people were strained off to the service of those who could be suspected as being the perpetrators of the problems in he first place.  Earth Day seems a great time to consider the underlying malevolence beneath the entirety.

Inspired by the student anti-war movement, Nelson hoped that he could tap into the energy on school campuses to get kids to take notice of issues such as air and water pollution, and put environmental issues onto the national political agenda.

Earth Day deflects from the reality that the system of 1970 and 2023 are the same, if not even more authoritarian now.  And so another 50 years from now another Earth Day will be celebrated with nothing changing except even deadlier Climate Change events.

It’s the system.  Attention toward individuals or topics by said system, about characteristics of topics or individuals that hinder the system, may be the system deflection to maintain a corrupt society.

The grand jury alleges that the aforementioned Ionov “directed” these Americans to “publish pro-Russian propaganda” and “information designed to cause dissention in the United States,” which is about as vague and amorphous an allegation as you could possibly come up with.

It’s not reasonable for the government to just dismiss the First Amendment on the grounds that it is being “weaponized”. You can’t have your government dictating what speech is valid and what counts as “agitprop” and “disinformation”, because they’ll always define those terms in ways which benefit the government, thus giving more power to the powerful and taking power away from the people.

This raises the topic of a government that has normalized the curious and erroneous notion that money is speech.  When the same government that declares that money is speech, than persecutes on the basis of people using rights of speech being labeled as weaponizing speech, we need to ask whether money that is called speech isn’t weaponizing both.

And may one say straight out that money is not speech.

This reminds that we are all exposed to corruption in a corrupt system.  The “loud sucking sound” of Ross Perot may be not so much jobs leaving the USA as much as it is American integrity circling the drain.      —                https://popularresistance.org/seneca-nation-casinos-and-dod-contracts-bullets-drones-tanks-war/       –The money trail can be traced from Seneca casino revenue to Seneca Holdings, LLC; to the Seneca Nation Group and its subsidiaries. Several of these subsidiaries, including: Seneca Strategic Partners, LLC; Seneca Solutions and Executive Protection Systems, LLC; are in the business of producing/manufacturing small arms ammunition, military armored vehicles, drones and tanks; as well as providing services to defense and intelligence agencies.

Somebody said truth will set you free.  That is probably a correct statement.  https://portside.org/2023-04-20/educators-and-publishers-are-fighting-rights-attempt-erase-black-history-revised?utm_source=portside-general&utm_medium=email          –Neither Judicial Watch nor Fitton think that these topics have any place in military instruction. What’s more, they argue that the course is proof that the U.S. military is succumbing to “Marxist” critical race theory, or CRT.

One isn’t as concerned about accurate history transforming the military as one is that the pretense of concern for FACTual history is being used to absorb those with the strongest reasons to be skeptical of the system.

As some have said, it’s complicated.  One wouldn’t say Jesus was an environmentalists, he just acted that way.  The FACTual history surrounding these stories is fascinating and not entirely coincidental to ideas fomented by religious institutions.  One looks forward to The Military-Industrial Complex cozy-ing up to Pagans to sway toward capitalistic hierarchical Establishment norms.

History has excluded the reality of many women.  I was fascinated while reading poems by Emily Dickinson, to realize this nearly-cloistered woman was so much more worldly wise than many highly educated and sophisticated people in 2023, who are probably not aware of punishment imposed upon others, and to a large extent women, in efforts by patriarchy to dominance.

Perhaps along with seeking degrees of graduation from modern-day institutions of higher learning, our youngsters should be informed about those who went before in reality, and not as written into patriarchal history.

Auto-da-fé — the burning of a heretic by the Spanish Inquisition.

“he was burned at the stake in what was arguably the biggest auto-da-fé ever in New Spain”

—-end of definition—-

The Spanish Inquisition seems to have been directed toward so-called heresy as imagined by patriarchal institutions.  Practices perfected in this time seemed to extend into the Middle Ages Witch trials.

One finds it curious that such a noteworthy practice in our common backgrounds, go unmentioned.

The same patriarchy that wrote laws to undermine women, also did the same for those they wished to colonize.  Was this accidental, or intentional?  And by he way, nature was also in the cross hairs.

It’s okay to say enough all ready——

http://ili.nativeweb.org/sdrm_art.html              —When Christopher Columbus first set foot on the white sands of Guanahani island, he performed a ceremony to “take possession” of the land for the king and queen of Spain, acting under the international laws of Western Christendom. Although the story of Columbus’ “discovery” has taken on mythological proportions in most of the Western world, few people are aware that his act of “possession” was based on a religious doctrine now known in history as the Doctrine of Discovery. Even fewer people realize that today – five centuries later – the United States government still uses this archaic Judeo-Christian doctrine to deny the rights of Native American Indians.

The enormity of the Establishment manipulation is so astronomical as to be almost unbelievable.  As they say, the best place to hide is in plain sight.****

As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-

This is a reminder of how much we don’t know.  This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought.  We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate.  Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United.  But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy.  Who knew?
The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbdkuU1edw          —#GreenSocialist Notes #76
Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ7kn2-GEmM       —

Ross Perot in 1992 on NAFTA and the “Giant Sucking Sound”

Centralization is the lifeblood of the R&D duopoly.  It’s the way to enforce capitalism onto workers in 2022.———————–We can do better———-

That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
