MENTAL HEALTH
Unstable mental health in the USA has been a topic of conversation lately. Perhaps we should speak of individual instances of inanity along with the societal attitudes that support instability.
History as taught in the US educational system ignores colonization of the Americas that transformed a pre-colonization culture that respected nature and land in its own right over personal-property ownership. This FACT alone is a monumental shift toward a type of mental instability that is seldom discussed or acknowledged.
Separation of humanity from wildlife and wilderness is a gigantic step toward deterioration of mental health. Yet We The People are subjected to laws to maintain what is called order but may be more of suppression of both wilderness and humanity. If wilderness and humanity are related, but are controlled by hierarchy, the break from mental health is real.

And this has been shown to improve health, both mental and physical, and foster a sense of belonging, which leads to a sense of responsibility and a desire to look after and protect the land itself.

The South passed trespassing laws for racial reasons, Ilgunas explains, and elsewhere wealthy landowners became increasingly protective over game, which gave rise to trespassing and hunting laws. While in the 1920s a Supreme Court ruling determined that the public was allowed to travel on unenclosed private land, that freedom was rendered null in the presence of a simple “no trespassing” sign. The Supreme Court has given landowners more and more control of the “right to exclude” over the years. We have become vigilantly proprietary over the pieces of land for which we hold titles.

In a surprising revelation, the Kingdom of Bhutan, a South Asian nation nestled within the Himalayan mountains, has admitted to secretly mining Bitcoin for years. More astonishingly, the country has managed to mine cryptocurrency sustainably, utilizing its vast hydroelectric resources. This approach sets Bhutan apart from traditional crypto-mining methods, which often require significant electricity consumption.

One has heard MSM refer to the “MeToo Movement as being instrumental in the success of E. Jean Carroll, with no reference to the silence from the MeToo Movement about Biden. This feels mentally-healthily unstable.
Although one is gratified with the success of the E. Jean Carroll verdict, Joe Biden has seemed to function as the protector of the status quo. Consider the Frontline PBS presentation aired yesterday.
https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/documentary/clarence-and-ginni-thomas/ —
As controversy erupts around Clarence and Ginni Thomas, FRONTLINE tells the inside story of their path to power. This investigation from veteran filmmaker Michael Kirk and his team traces how race, power and controversy collide in the rise of the Supreme Court justice and his wife and how the couple has reshaped American law and politics.–end of frontline info–
During the Clarence Thomas judicial nomination inquiry, with Anita Hill speaking truth to power and other women with similar stories being suppressed, the Senators “investigating”, including Joe Biden, appeared to act in compliance with patriarchy.
The infamous state from Trump about “unfortunately or fortunately” on the topic of sexual abuse toward women, Trump is known for blurting out truth. The system has indeed worked to promote patriarchy for the supremacy of its hierarchy. This directly political system hasn’t promoted mental stability or health.

Reference to colonization of the Americas must consider the ongoing exploitation of both nature and people experienced by Indigenous Americans, who seemed to enjoy a more symbiotic relationship between both.
From lakotalaw —- May 5, officially designated by the president of the United States as Missing or Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) Awareness Day, is now behind us — and there’s some good news. Step by step, this land is becoming a safer place for Indigenous persons, with vulnerable women and girls who still go missing at staggering rates standing to benefit the most. Because of an enormous amount of organizing by Indigenous communities and frontline activists over the past several years, the slow-turning gears of the United States government have begun to shift.
First, a flurry of laws have passed over the past few years, including 2020’s Savanna’s Act and Not Invisible Act, and also the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization of 2022. Collectively, these laws improve the federal government’s response to MMIP through increased coordination, development of best practices, and creation of a joint commission on violent crime. Then, just this past week, both houses of Congress and the president stepped forward to help curb the ongoing MMIP epidemic. You can read Biden’s proclamation above, as well as statements from those in the Senate and House.
Nevertheless, the work you help us to do continues. Although we are moving in the right direction, the statistics are still dire in Indian Country. According to Native Women’s Wilderness, murder is the third leading cause of death for Indigenous women, and it happens to Native women three times more often than to Anglo-American women. More than 84 percent of Indigenous women have experienced violence, and well over half will experience sexual violence in their lifetimes.
One of the root causes of this violence is the poverty imposed by the United States on tribal nations. This is why the Lakota People’s Law Project attacks colonialism and its impacts from every possible angle. Without effective nation building, Indian Country will remain subject to various forms of genocide, and women and girls will continue to bear too much of that injustice. Please keep our missing relatives in your thoughts, and let’s keep working to make things better.

The Wildhunt seems to touch upon Kabbalistic views that suggest a Pagan origin. To read The Secret Teachings of Jesus add another layer by speaking of that which was pre-Pagan, if one may so presume. May one define this as the cause-and-effect of Buddhism, that is the reason one follows that path. In other words, quantum physics, oer where the mortal and immortal come full circle, may one presume.
https://wildhunt.org/2023/05/lag-bomer-concerns-over-paganism.html –In the Kabbalistic tradition, the period of Omer is considered to be a time for inner spiritual growth. It is a period to strengthen one’s good characteristics, focusing on one of them each day through meditation, activities, and intention.
This all sounds suspiciously Pagan to some, and there is a movement afoot to expose and eliminate any pagan connection to the rituals observed during the period of Omer. There are even worries that Jews are becoming Pagans.–end of wildhunt info–

In December 1945, two Egyptian fellahin, digging for natural fertilizer in the Nile River valley unearthed a sealed storage jar. The jar proved to hold treasure of an unexpected sort: a collection of some fifty-two ancient manuscripts, most of which reflect the teachings of a mystical religious movement we call Gnosticism (from the Greek word gnosis, “knowledge”). The texts are also, with few exceptions, Christian documents, and thus they provide us with valuable new information about the character of the early church, and about the Gnostic Christians within the church. In this volume, Marvin W. Meyer has produced a new English translation for general readers of four of the most important and revealing of these early Christian texts — the Secret Book of James, the Gospel of Thomas, the Book of Thomas, and the Secret Book of John.–end of secret teachings of jesus info–
So what does all of this have to do with universal mental health? It’s about the gyrations by hierarchical Establishment to wrestle humanity and nature to its own abuse, to secure material gain and societal supremacy. Some people define this as corruption, and so goes the material world away from its Creator.
And so goes mental health imbalance that follows the tide of corruption.
The material world and the spiritual world are the topic. To maintain a balance may be mental health. To “win” in the material world may not equate to a win in the spiritual world, one is afraid. That seems to be the message of Jesus.
