CAPITALISM IN PRACTICE
When you say what the rest of us should be able to figure out for ourselves anyway, you get censored—
FREE MARKETS AND US AMNESIA
On this small-business Saturday, free market concepts should be important. In the USA, corporate-owned politicians have put into place laws and policies that significantly undermine local sole proprietorship in favor of chain store privilege.
TIME TO INVESTIGATE INANITY
Today C-Span at around 2:30PM, is airing a Congressional Q&A on the topic of US Drone Strikes. This is an eyeopener on a topic about which most people have a passing awareness and little more. Transparency is stressed by such groups as the ACLU, and defended against by some politicians. That drones are used by one nation against the citizens of another seems to be beyond the pale.
FREEDOM ISN’T FREE
Too often freedom for one person comes at the liability of another. Socialism could be a label to suggest balancing away from exploitation of this type, if it must be labeled. Another phrase could be respect for natural, human, and civil rights. Either way, everyone should have a voice in defining freedom, not only the hierarchy.
SHELL GAME TRADE
A reality-show President seems slowly to lose his polish to reality-show constituents. If the Republican Party could regain the sense of humor that is grounded in self confidence, perhaps they would elect Liz Cheney as Speaker of The House.
DEMAND FREE MARKETS
Breathtaking is any presumption that attack on nature can be perpetrated without an accompanying attack on humanity. This is emblematic of hierarchical Establishment indoctrination that has urged humanity to identify with corporations rather than nature.
HUMAN RIGHTS INSPIRATION
Human rights and natural rights inform our democratic Constitutional republic.
REPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT
At least questions are being raised. Some of the public are noticing that something fishy is going on.
NATURAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY
C-Span hosted a discussion about the US history of wire taps. Also mentioned seemed to be the view that such surveillance as used by tyrannical government in modern times, originated and were perfected in the USA. That’s an interesting notion if FACTual.
FINE THE POOR OR TAX THE RICH?
The money to run government must come from somewhere. Citizens United seems an apt system in which Pyramid Schemes thrive.
THE ECONOMY, STUPID?
Biden ‘splains “core inflation” to America, in which the inflation rate is 0%, considering the price of somethings went up while the price of other things went down. For example, cheaper are diamonds, yachts, foreign boarding schools, and high-end vehicles. Unfortunately food, gasoline, day care, housing, health care and family vehicles are priced out of availability for the average consumer. (This isn’t necessarily a quote but more nearly a paraphrase dripping with sarcasm…and yes the use of sarcasm implies derision)
SPEAKING OF PRIVACY
Privacy seems to be a value that straddles legislation and human rights. We could benefit from a public discussion of these topics. Laws are governmental and human rights are intrinsic.
ORDERED LIBERTY
Human rights and indeed environmental rights supersede legislation. This FACT appears to have fostered another euphemism which is “ordered liberty”. “Ordered liberty” insinuates man-made laws in place of human rights. FACTually speaking human rights are intrinsic to people as environmental rights are intrinsic to nature. Hierarchy has as its mission, limiting these rights for exploitation by Establishment.
CLIMATE CHANGE AND CHOICE
Disingenuous Conservatives who hypocritically attack Choice which is an innate human right of women as apparent by biology from The Creator (you can’t challenge FACTS) would better build a society that enhances the life of women and children, if said Conservatives wish to cut down on abortions, rather than forcing women through a filter of patriarchal control that implies human rights violations, with said violations based on the mechanics as preordained by The Creator.
LANGUAGE CAN ENTRAP…CONSIDER CHOICE
Conservatives are proposing a society that supports pregnant women to replace Choice. The concept feels like another distraction away from cultural recognition of the humanity of women. Intrinsic control of one’s own body is a human right of women as much as for men. This control is of The Creator in whatever way each understands He/She/Cause-and-Effect. This human right by women can be wielded surrepticiously or in dignified privacy.
