The cash sent overseas to “save democracy” would be better used to uplift We The People. Knowledge is power and the American people possess neither.
DIVERSITY BEYOND BLACK AND WHITE
We must understand the depravity of health of species that must be suggested by a 70% decrease in wild animals since 1970. Diversity is precisely that which maintains the best possibility for health in animals and plants, and unencumbered by interference by humanity, which is the definition of wild, seems to suggest support from natural sources such as, for example, The Creator in any way one imagines She/It/He/Cause-And-Effect.
SELF DETERMINATION
A reason I love NYS is that it is a hotbed of responsible citizens. This is curious alongside a propensity to vote into positions of power, patriarchal Establishment types who seem to disregard local community wishes. Authoritarianism conflicts with democracy.
INDIGENOUS = HUMANITY
Simplicity probably offers the most clarity and this is FACTual in language as much as in anything. Is it a coincidence that the English-speaking world has been at the forefront of exploitation and imperialism and that the language is intricate, while less aggressive societies are known to have fewer words but perhaps with more emphasis on emotion? Who knows, but this is an interesting topic of thought on a dreamy Fall day. May we still be capable of dreaming.
CHALLENGE DENIAL
Inculcation into visions of life from hierarchical Establishment characters has supported a system that is violent, oppressive, greedy, cruel and authoritarian. Denial is required to ignore some of these realities.
PATRIARCHY IS GLOBAL
Anthropomorphizing of Creation stories by politicians and bureaucrats to excuse the all-to-human failure called war, by labeling, using language of institutionalized religion, which is patriarchal, by using such words as Armageddon, in a nation founded on principals that don’t seem to support either imperialism or state religions, could be a topic of discussion.
VOTE FOR POLICY OR CHARACTER?
C-Span presented the following discussion and well worth hearing. As for Liz Cheney, I hold her in high regard for integrity but in low esteem for policy. Trickle Down has worked well for the Cheney’s, but is a corrupt economic policy as regards free markets, in one person’s opinion. Especially partnered with Citizens United and www.alec.org, it is a system to transfer the wealth of the nation from to the top of the Pyramid Scheme. But that’s as applies to the economy and the Reagan notions. As applies to the integrity of Liz Cheney, this seems to pertain to democracy, and is a system, if voters are awake, that can challenge Trickle Down Theories even while those supporting democracy are proponents for Trickle Down.. And so one can imagine voting for Liz Cheney as compared to, for example, voting for a Duopoly-owned President mouthing admirable policies but lacking integrity.
WHILE WE STILL HAVE FREE SPEECH
Aside from teaching Native American history in schools, one was interested to watch MSM hosts, during the Queen Elizabeth funeral, bring up the topic of monarchy and the FACT of treatment of Indigenous People in the many colonies of UK, without mentioning that one of these colonies was the USA pre-Revolution, with devastation of Native Americans that continued from the beginning to the current day. This seems to be a special level of oppression of Native Americans.
PATRIARCHAL PRIVILEGE OF VOTIING
We need to remember to look behind the curtain at the mechanics of Establishment. This is where the control and privilege grows.
IT’S THE DUOPOLY, STUPID….
What do MAGA voters and the Democratic Base have in common? Some people could guess, the commonality is being hoodwinked by separate branches of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly.
QUESTION STATUS QUO
Some people have called for a definition of progress in terms of peace, good health, and equality rather than a progress defined in terms of aggression, exploitation and greed. It is incomprehensible when hearing policies and actions to make work, a progress that uses finite resources in pursuit of infinite growth. How obvious can it be that “trickle down” promotes exactly that definition of progress. In other words, those who follow this line of propaganda are simply whistling past the graveyard.
CLIMATE CHANGE, HURRICANE, AND WAR
Some people see the origin of Creation less as a man with a beard and wearing a night gown, standing in the clouds, and more like cause and effect orchestrated by each individual. A C-Span caller the other day said the hurricane was a judgment on Florida for shipping migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
