Some people see the origin of Creation less as a man with a beard and wearing a night gown, standing in the clouds, and more like cause and effect orchestrated by each individual.  A C-Span caller the other day said the hurricane was a judgment on Florida for shipping migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.

Others see it more as a predictable event when a nation puts a price tag on nature, promoting Climate Change for money and using he profits to build a playground for he players, built contrary to fairness and wisdom in the paths so orchestrated.  A price for such so-called progress is Climate Change.

Some people see imperialism and specifically the war in Ukraine as an effect of the cause of exploitation and gluttony of, for example, the system of capitalism.

A way to express this from a Natural Way value, in one’s imagination, may be on a non-material view in which one understands the depravity of harming the natural world of which humanity is a part.

This is only one view that nonetheless should be in the discussion.

Several thoughts—-

***Capitalism underwrites a system of competition in which predatory behavior is rewarded economically, often at the cost of human resources (people) and natural resources (environment)

***Many people who are concerned abut environmental degradation still participate in a quasi-unavoidable system (unavoidable because it has not yet escaped denial by the public)

***Those who choose to step outside of the competitive system are therefore economically disadvantaged

***Those who accept the capitalistic status quo are economically rewarded, sometimes inordinately

***In order to participate positively in this system people must to some extent, deny the connection between natural resource exploitation and Climate Change

***Some at the top of this Pyramid Scheme even support privatization of land, air, and water

***When said privatizing proponents lose control of air, water, and land, the government steps in to help

***The down side to owning land, water and air is that they are not privy to human ownership, the up side to owning land, water, and air is the view and privilege during good weather

***This raises the question of the government that ignores affordable and energy-efficient housing for the majority of Americans, but is enthusiastic to “make those whole” who have presumed to ownership of land, air, and water on a McMansion scale.

These thoughts raise questions and are not solutions.  However one has recalled the systems of Indigenous people that generally view air, water and land as existing on a level with humanity, and therefore not to be exploited.  

In contrast, capitalism even views humanity as a resource that can be privatized.
