COLONIZED MIND THOUGHT

Denial must be the official mindset to forget North America is colonized.  The result seems to have been destruction of nature and and acceptance of Climate Change.  The latest “breaking news”?  Little Rock, Arkansas. read more

CAPITALISTIC USE OF THE FEMININE

A remembrance of Pat Schroeder on CBS Nightly report yesterday mentioned that she was appointed to a Commission but needed to share the seat with a male associate due to her status as 1/2 a person in that time and place.  Some women remember those days.  We may return to them.  Meanwhile too often it feels like the women who endured those places and times are expected to “just get over it”.  And so a road to a return to that time is paved. read more

PROGRESS OR DYSTOPIA?

The reminder of the old film called Soylent Green arose while hearing a commercial intended to sell fruit and vegetable related nutrition vitamins using the phrase (paraphrase)  –get nutrients of fruits and vegetables without expensive trips to the grocery store.   read more

NON-ESTABLISHMENT REALITY

The FACT is raised in this Kim Brown discussion, about local and often volunteer firefighters who didn’t know the type of chemicals in the fire in Palestine, OH that they fought.  Some Upstate NY anti-fracking advocates are quite aware of the problem of industrial insinuation of chemicals into local neighborhoods with the possible disasters that are described as “accidents will happen”, and are a part of the nationalizing of risk and privatizing of profiteering that is embedded in capitalism. read more

THE VALUE OF UFO’S

The value of the recent UFO concerns in the USA that has an infinitesimal chance of being aliens from outside of our universe, is the attention-grabbing ability that may accrue toward those who may otherwise be running around in red caps and annoying others.  A significant value is to shine light into the dark corner of government secrecy that is out of sync with a democracy.   read more

POLITICAL JOKE

POLITICS AND RELIGION

Transparency seems important if people are to have the ability to understand the complexity on topics our politicians make decisions about, for the US public.  RT has been censored out of the US media line-up.  As one who believes one receives propaganda via RT, one also recognizes the propaganda is no more nor less than received byway of CNN, MSNBC, or FOX.  This is the reason diversity in news sources is important, along with individuals who are aware enough to compare and investigate upon one’s own. read more

JUSTICE IS A JOURNEY

A reason one was disappointed about a news blackout locally on an important local issue, is that when We The People are legitimized by court action, this action encourages We The People to act in the interests of our local communities.  NYS has a background history of insinuating industrial development quietly before the local community is aware of the intentions, and then ‘splaining away disagreement by saying “well it’s too late now”. read more

WHEN THE SYSTEM IS INSANE

Few of the public are aware of the decade-long struggle against human rights violations and natural rights violations in the Northeast, and most notably along the border of NYS and Pa..  A reason is censorship by corporate-owned government-influenced MSM.  During the decade-long anti-fracking struggle, little to nothing was reported on local news about local-community advocacy to uphold human and natural rights.  One doesn’t recall in the last week ore so, a news report that as Shapiro says, the penalties against corporate harm are historic.  Perhaps I missed the local news report that could have encouraged local community members that incidentally, justice happens.  Devoid of a Free Press, one appreciates social media, which is denigrated by corporate-owned government-run MSM read more

SAYING WHAT YOU THINK….WHO DOES THAT?

An episode on The Office included Darryll telling Kelly that he liked her but (paraphrase) she needed to decide for herself what she wanted and stop playing games. A befuddled Kelly looks into the camera and says (paraphrase) Darryll says exactly what’s on his mind…..who does that? read more
