SAYING WHAT YOU THINK….WHO DOES THAT?

An episode on The Office included Darryll telling Kelly that he liked her but (paraphrase) she needed to decide for herself what she wanted and stop playing games. A befuddled Kelly looks into the camera and says (paraphrase) Darryll says exactly what’s on his mind…..who does that?

One might substitute Darryll for Russia.  Reports by bureaucratic this morning are ‘spalning that, yes, Ukraine lobbed a Russian missile into Poland, but it is the fault of Russia.  They have stopped short of further ‘splaining that Russia invested months if not years reminding NATO that a NATO build-up upon their border would be viewed as aggressive.  To those who say it is the territory of Ukraine, what would be the concern of Americans of a Russian-troop build up on, for example, the Southern border of Canada?

As I listen to people say that we need to protect the people of the Ukraine, one agrees, but logic would say NATO could have done so by respecting diplomatic norms and principles.  Everyone must be concerned with the war in Ukraine and the plight of the local communities.  But so-called leaders must be equally involved in protecting local communities, rather than playing war games in their “theaters”.

These FACTS are unsettling enough, but add to this the billions of US dollars sent to Ukraine, and without mentioning anything more nefarious about use of Russian missiles to lob into Poland by Ukraine, where does all the money go from the USA?

To some people, this seems less about national wars and more about oligarch vs. local community business as usual.  To use the phrase coined by hierarchical Establishment types, “running government like a business”.

The Real Reason The US Is Against The Entire World on Cuba

–end of leecamp info–

Cuba is communist and one doesn’t support communism any more than one supports capitalism, because both are hierarchical.  But quality of life of Cubans seems comparable to that of the average American.  As one who supports the general interests of women, outcome that is often labeled as “socialist”, such as adequate food supply, good living conditions pertaining to housing, universal health care, and an educational system that produces near-100% literacy rates are desirable in comparison to imperialism, oligarchy, and exploitation of local community members by the elite.

To explain exploitation of the general public by politicians/commerce, one will share once more, the following—-The following is a repeat of previous information that is simply too important to freedom and self-governance to fail to include again….

These bits of news are relevant when one recalls ongoing commercial/governmental MSM insults against any of the public who speak out against globalism as advanced by government/commerce, with the label of isolationist for those who object.  Meanwhile, laws and policies have been enacted that give advantage (winners and losers again) to hierarchical Establishment over interests of We The People.  One will share once more due to relevance, the following explanation of this view…..

On the topic of an economy that functions in a democratic (small d) Constitutional republic, Establishment seems to have superimposed capitalism over free market principles.  Reasons supporting this view—

*Trade agreements promoted by politicians bought into positions of power byway of Citizens United have sent jobs and manufacturing to foreign nations

*Family income has been reduced dramatically due to trade agreements

*Said trade agreements have included language that prioritizes interests of multi-national corporations over local-community human rights and rights of nature

*When manufacturing is predominantly foreign, US consumers are at the mercy of foreign nations and a questionable supply chain

*The Trump tariff was imposed when tariffs are traditionally used to balance import/export ratios to ensure money isn’t flowing out of the US but instead is flowing into the US

*To impose a tariff on imports when manufacturing has been legislatively forced to foreign nations is predatory toward US consumers and supports inflation

*Previous to current Pyramid-Scheme economics, sole-proprietorship business which is the core of free markets, were undermined legislatively in favor of corporate chains

*Recently sole props have used the internet to purchase low-cost products from overseas in order to maintain local-community store fronts

*The Trump tariff short-circuited this ability for sole props to so participate in such global free market activity because a sole prop is taxed personally to the owner and so imposes the tariff directly upon said sole proprietor, while corporations are legislatively taxed more favorably to their business interest

*And so precision predatory behavior toward We The People by corporate/politician collaboration is US economic policy

Question, if you wish, your Representatives of the People on the topic of isolation of the US public from benefits of globalism that have been especially legislated to benefit US oligarchs, while specifically burdening the genera public and especially small-business owners called sole proprietors of partnerships.

This is a bait-and-switch that disenfranchises local community individuals from free markets that  seems to be of the highest magnitude.

Befuddlement and game playing may be a modern-day attribute.  C-Span hosted a call-in discussion about views of the Presidential-campaign excitement that is fanned by MSM, for 2024.   At about 9:16AM a woman called in to speak of what she phrased, “Democratic news stations”, as though the phrase wasn’t any oxymoron.  Can we even consider propaganda anymore?  An assumption is that she is listening to her “Republican news station”.  Heads up….a Free Press is neither Democratic or Republican.

Steven Donziger & Lee Camp: Big Oil Owns The US Justice System

–end of leecamp info–

Donzigeer speaks of his perspective from a 30-year legal career, of the diminishing of democracy in the USA.  One has also spoken of this reality, about which youngsters  would be unaware, indoctrinated as they are into compliance by a hierarchically-controlled educational system.  One recalls that fifty years ago, people were absolutely heady with freedom, as compared to 2022, which is quite authoritarian in character.

One attributes this dismal reality to Citizens United, by which the political system that makes that makes the laws, is in the back pocket of big-money donors.  What could go wrong?

****As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-

This is a reminder of how much we don’t know.  This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought.  We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate.  Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United.  But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy.  Who knew?
The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbdkuU1edw          —#GreenSocialist Notes #76
Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ7kn2-GEmM       —

Ross Perot in 1992 on NAFTA and the “Giant Sucking Sound”

Centralization is the lifeblood of the R&D duopoly.  It’s the way to enforce capitalism onto workers in 2022.———————–We can do better———-

That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
