STRIVING FOR FREEDOM

The USA has presumed capitalism as “our system”, rather than regard for principles of a democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Capitalism has a goal of profit.  Profit in the USA means money.  People who have no money and are attempting survival under capitalism do not have freedom. read more

DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE GIANT SUCKING SOUND?

,,,,,or who was Ross Perot.  But before we get to that, we would do well to remember that where we were in 1992, was far different from where we are in 2022.  The politicians who had been in power in between have much to answer for.  The deepest tragedy is that youngsters of 2022 don’t know they live in a far different world as pertains to economic opportunity and in FACT freedom and liberty.  For those who remember, the difference is dismal.  Even counting in the inflation of bygone days, anyone with any self-motivation was able to secure with dignity, a respectable lifestyle.  In 2022, that is much harder. read more

MATURE LEADERSHIP

PR for political parties Democratic and Republican seem to groom their clients to maintain a sorority/fraternity persona, that harms most people attempting real life.   It’s also not a good look for a leader.  Maturity and interest seem better. read more

HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT

The Democratic/Republican duopoly seems to use political Parties in a way that presupposes democracy in action at the same time interests of the public, both in the USA and in foreign nations, are ignored.  Warnings from President George Washington are also ignored by politicians, commercial interests, and corporate-owned-politically-influenced MSM on the topic of political Parties read more

THE “F” WORD

One hears hierarchical characters such as the President and corporate-owned-politically-influenced MSM warn Americans against fascism.  One wonders where the warnings were about predatory capitalism that on a continuum seems to follow one of 2 paths; either fascism or organized crime.  Which system under which we suffer should be the conversation. read more

IF YOU DON’T USE IT YOU LOSE IT

Consider the progress in terms of good health, peace, and equality over just 100 years.  It is almost impossible to imagine that I was born only 30 years after the ratification of Suffrage for Women.  That NOW is only about 50 years old is even as fascinating.  That the right for a woman to control her own body in 2022 is on the line is disturbing; but compared to the journey, just a bump in the road.  It is a reminder that freedom and autonomy is each a journey, not a destination.  The ERA could be an important goal for young women going forward.  The success of the past, emerging from the deepest rights violations, reminds that the successes can be even sweeter.  Loss of gains made were quite predictable to those not heady with hubris of the freedom and autonomy handed to them on silver platters. read more

IDENTIFY THE THREAT

Complexity on a topic is recognized by some people at the same time another group will see none.  Centralization that also can be found in globalism mean hierarchical personalities set a standard to which a very diverse public is required to meet.  To meet this arbitrary standard may not produce a healthy society. read more

CRITICAL CROSSROAD

In one person’s view, the same oligarchy that thrives by dividing Americans does the same around the globe.  The US Constitution doesn’t include requirement that the USA police foreign nations, nor that we support an oligarchy.  Who can say in the USA of 2022, that we are not an oligarchy?  A symptom is the deep division that surely is promoted by a Democratic/Republican duopoly that has been buoyed into power byway of big-money campaign donations legalized without being legitimized by the Citizens United decision by a highly questionable Supreme Court. read more

WHOSE LIFE IS IT?

Parents seem deprived of the natural right to raise their own children in the manner they choose by a system that has become curiously totalitarian as applied to education.  This may set the mood for parental over reaction in self defense.  At the same time, one cannot imagine a better opportunity for parents to open discussion with their children after a topic is raised that may be uncomfortable to both.  That seems more of an opportunity for parents than a harm to children.  That our educational system seems used as a babysitting service for the convenience of commercial Establishment to promote a progress based on greed, privilege, and exploitation seems to expose a broader problem. read more

THIS IS CAPITALISM

Apparently Marjorie Taylor Greene has been denied access to something or other.  Whatever her problem, she is barred from a private enterprise outlet.  Private enterprise has the right to run their business according to their personal policies.  This is the reason employers can mandate, for example, dress codes and masks.  Some private corporations even mandate a woman’s health-care coverage access to birth control.   read more

YOU CAN LEAD A HORSE TO WATER….

BUT YOU CAN’T MAKE IT DRINK…………….
The silver lining behind Democratic Establishment misogyny as campaign strategy has been a spotlight on bird watching.  The precious importance of birds that continues with or without misogyny deserves such attention
