YOU CAN LEAD A HORSE TO WATER….

BUT YOU CAN’T MAKE IT DRINK…………….
The silver lining behind Democratic Establishment misogyny as campaign strategy has been a spotlight on bird watching.  The precious importance of birds that continues with or without misogyny deserves such attention

https://portside.org/2022-01-01/birds-washington-aves-politicae       –For those to whom ornithology is a         mystery, I offer a description of some of the birds you are likely to spot at this time in the Washington, D.C., area, home to more than its share of “rare birds.” Keep your binoculars close by, since a few of these fowl are apt to flit away quickly when observed too closely. –end of portside info–
Aside from Democratic strategist campaigns that included misogyny, for what reason was the topic of a woman’s right to control her own body so woefully ignored during the Presidential campaign…..on “both sides”……?  What’s up with that?   As much was expressed by the Democratic Establishment by what they didn’t say as by what they did.
One can challenge the concept that the Democrats and Republicans are completely divided as is suggested in the following link.  The 2-Party system is a flimsy lie that deflects from the 1-Party that is Capitalism that rules.  That a majority of both Republicans and Democrats voted to increase the budget for the Pentagon is emblematic of loyalty to big-money interests by the 2 branches of the Capitalistic Party   —   https://newpol.org/increased-u-s-military-spending-means-more-militarism-imperialism-and-war/      –The U.S. Congress is completely divided, Republicans versus Democrats. Except when it comes to the military. Bills for working people can’t be passed. But there’s always money for the generals and the arms-makers.–end of newpot info–

Politicians have no problem spending money as long as it is transferred away from We The People and toward big-money campaign donors, in one person’s view.
Some voters don’t know the name of their Representatives, and how they vote on important matters.
https://countercurrents.org/2021/12/us-congress-approves-massive-770-billion-war-budget/  –By an overwhelming bipartisan margin of 88-11, the US Senate voted Wednesday to approve the largest military budget in history, nearly $770 billion, some $25 billion more than the Biden administration had requested. The legislation passed the House of Representatives last week by a similar bipartisan margin, 363-70, and it now goes to the White House for President Joe Biden’s signature. The bill sets policy for the Pentagon and authorizes countless military programs, ranging from nuclear weapons development to a pay raise of 2.7 percent for military personnel, both uniformed and civilian. Congress must still pass appropriations bills, but in the case of the military these are largely a formality.–end of countercurrents info–

NYS politicians were unanimous in spending taxpayer money on the military.  Democrats and Republicans acted in accord.
C-Span offered opportunity for callers to voice opinions on the Democratic and Republican perspective, participating in further indoctrination that the only view is capitalism hierarchical Establishment babble.  —  https://www.c-span.org/video/?516960-3/washington-journal-rebecca-pearcey-adam-goodman-discuss-political-stories-watch-2022   –JANUARY 2, 2022  | PART OF WASHINGTON JOURNAL 01/02/2022

Rebecca Pearcey and Adam Goodman on Political Stories to Watch in 2022

Democratic strategist Rebecca Pearcey and Republican strategist Adam Goodman discuss political stories to watch in 2022.–end of c-span info–
The above strategists were presented as representative of views of the public, while callers presented a wider and more informed range of ideas than either of so-called political strategists.  But then political strategists are about elbowing their Party into positions of power, not about the good of the USA or of upholding the US Constitution.
Someone mentioned Liz Cheney who the caller said should switch to the Democratic ticket.  Really? For what purpose.  Liz Cheney has next to no Democratic positions on policy.  Why should she be a Democrat, and at this point why should she be a Republican?   There’s something very strange about our supposed 2-Party system. As one who holds almost no Liz Cheney political positions, I could see myself voting for Liz Cheney simply on the basis of character.  Andrew Yang is also a possibility for the same reasons, with the added obvious ability to think new ideas that he has displayed.  But his integrity, apparently, has steered him away from either of the Democratic or Republican Party and he is promoting what he has called the Forward Party.  We surely need new ideas and neither of the branches of the Capitalist Party seem capable of anything other than rhetoric.https://www.forwardparty.com/      —  I started the Forward Party for a few big reasons. The main one is one we can all see – the current two-party duopoly is not working. While the two major parties have different issues, we can all see that polarization is getting worse and worse, with 42% of both parties regarding the other as not just mistaken, but evil. Neither side is able to meaningfully solve problems, so we all get angrier and angrier.

The name of Cory Booker continues to come up; and he is surely a serious consideration even though he is still in the Democratic quagmire.
And as always, due to being tried and true, my vote would go to Bernie Sanders if he chose to run in 2024.  He would be the President today, one believes, if not for the insinuation by meritorious Jim Clyburn and the Democratic Establishment.
C-Span at 11:23AM a caller says (paraphrase) that people hate Trump due to the media.   (In FACT, most people don’t “hate”, and simply see the history of a self-promoting barker.  The Trump Base could stop telling everyone else the reason everyone else isn’t voting for Trump, and consider the actual background of this person)
The opposite side of this Republican excuse of the Capitalist Party is the rhetoric from Democratic strategists about racism.  Most people are quite happy with any hued physiognomy with character, a mind, and ethics.  Let’s vote accordingly.
An interesting topic for discussion would be the reason such media as C-Span emphasizes the Democratic Party and Republican Party at the same time a majority of voters are not so registered.  This seems rather leading.

We deserve better.      https://www.lwv.org/newsroom/press-releases/league-refuses-help-perpetrate-fraud–LEAGUE REFUSES TO “HELP PERPETRATE A FRAUD”

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
Along with Climate Change, many people oppose the imperialism of the USA under control of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.  Use of the wealth of our nation should be to enhance quality of life for We The People rather than for imperialism.  Some people vote accordingly.I———————–That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
