MAY DAY
May Day is an American holiday. Who knew?
https://www.rbth.com/lifestyle/330314-may-first-in-russia –May 1 became International Labor Day after the tragedy at Haymarket Square in Chicago, Illinois, USA. In early May 1886, demonstrations were held in Chicago and other US cities demanding an eight-hour working day. It might seem a no-brainer today, but in the late 19th century many tycoons did not believe that workers had the right to sleep.
JUST BY TELLING THE TRUTH
Is Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. choosing a new Presidential-candidate campaign message?
HR5 BIPARTISANSHIP
HR5 has been discussed by the R&D Duopoly. The topic is parental involvement in education of children.
MIDDLEMEN OF WWIII
We will find the middlemen between the producers and the consumers, “earning” wealth.
ADS AS EDUCATION
C-Span hosted Fairplay guest Josh Golin. Mr. Golin expressed interest in supporting online use by children that is free of advertising (paraphrase).
BOY SCOUTS WITH BINOCULARS
The painfully relevant topic of debt in the USA was addressed by a mature and informed discussion with Elyse Hicks. The predatory character of credit card use was prominent. We should question those who called in to say “they knew what they were getting into” as being offensive when one remembers that organized crime uses usury tactics in their power and wealth accumulation. Some people have recognized that capitalism on a continuum is organized crime, and should be treated as such.
DO LIES TERRORIZE?
As one who doesn’t take seriously Marjorie Taylor Greene and who believes she does herself a disservice by continuing in manic right-wing chauvinism, one is still surprised to agree with her assertion that an audit is required on the topic of the US funding to Ukraine for the war with Russia.
TRAINED VICTIMS
The fascinating reality of abuse is that after the perpetrator has indoctrinated the target into acceptance, the abuser no longer needs to commit abuse while the target carries on the persona alone. Another perspective is that we can each be our own worst enemy. And that may be the reason the characters displaying as leaders gain power. Fascinating is the FACT of a 2020 Presidential campaign in which candidates elected into power had not touched upon the topic of rights of a woman to control her own body. Allegations brought by women about harassment, in FACT, were ignored. So in 2022 we shouldn’t be surprised at the lip service from said leaders, with absolutely no action to protect intrinsic rights of women.
DEFINE EDUCATION
Capitalism is hierarchy controlling a system that cannot function as democracy under these constraints.
WHAT WILL REPLACE CAPITALISM?
Someone asked a completely relevant question which was “what will replace capitalism”? The answer was entirely too glib but deeply truthful which was “soul”. Surely preoccupation was the cause of this reply, combined with dismay that over years of discussion as to the universe of possibilities of replacement of capitalism, this question was asked. In FACT it is a timely question as we are beginning to recognize that capitalism is a Pyramid Scheme. Capitalism like communism thrives when a Free Press is replaced by corporate-owned-state-influenced MSM that has given us news blackouts whenever anyone mentions what will replace capitalism. But once again, the possibilities are endless.
WHY SHOULD WOMEN OWN WOODS?
Filling out the following NYS survey about broadband and asking my husband the answers to questions about which I am uninformed, he asked, “why are you doing so much work for them for free?” Good point. The reason was I was ultimately wishing to ask about our electrical grid that goes out periodically for no reason. This is a more crucial issue than broadband. Again one wishes to remind that our NYS NYSEG utility company is owned by a company in Spain, which nation is quite friendly with Russia. More power to them, but another FACT is the increasing electrical rates in our area, the unreliable service, and the enormous cost transferred from local-community, poverty-burdened Upstate NY people to wealthy corporations in Spain.
SELLING THE SIZZLE, NOT THE STEAK
The student-loan anomaly seems to be an example of capture of generations of the public into a requirement to support lifestyle that seems beneficial to hierarchy. If the reason for education is first to provide personal autonomy, debt is a bad start. When the debt pays for education that indoctrinates into an economic system that promotes the hierarchy that provides the education, more questions are raised. This seems to be an example of imperialism considered in an individual way, to keep it simple.
