Maybe not forever or for everyone, but surely this seems a lifestyle that should be available.  What if more communities offered de-indoctrination spaces?  Would mental health improve?  Could spiritual health be remembered?      –Capturing the contemplative pace of life on Erraid, the Scotland-based filmmaker Giulia Candussi follows Gill as her six-month trial stay comes to a close, and she and her fellow community members decide if she’ll become a permanent resident.

Here is another opportunity to de-indoctrinate.   If this is more to your taste, you can still make a ripple in the ocean of change.

What indoctrination doesn’t permit to be considered—-             –Night thoughts Why?

C-Span offers innumerable speeches from bureaucrats and politicians from the 2 dominant and parallel political Parties, and one such speech was by Pence who seems to be running for President in 2024.  Interesting was a first portion of the speech from Pence on the topic of resources, that he said a Founder had urged Americans to use for the furtherance of our republic.  Not doubting that a Founder may have said this, one was interested in the capitalistic-hierarchical-institutionalized-religious interpretation that followed from Pence.  He turned this statement into our God-given right to use the natural resources for our benefit.  This is a paraphrase but the words “Gov-given right” and “natural resources” are not.

In other words, the Founder who may have been a Deist as were many of the Founders, according to their own historically documented words, and who may have had in mind such resources as the US Constitution or personal internal fortitude or geographical isolation from capitalistic Europe, was transformed into the position of a Conservative institutionalized religious mouthpiece for Pence.  As James Carville has said, anything goes in political campaigns, apparently including FACTS.  And so an informed electorate needs to pay attention or be led down the primrose path in rose-colored glasses.

Some people find as a slick commercial campaign, the presumption that natural resources were intended by an anthropomorphic God that has endorsed a political Party as odd and nearly unhinged.  And may also promote Climate Change.  This is surely a topic for transparent discussion.

Everyone has their mythology and that includes Pence.  To incorporate it into governing theory seems odd.  But no odder than using economic theory to govern.  Be careful for whom you vote.  You could vote yourself into the position of cog in the machinery of capitalism or minion to hierarchy…..or both..

Capitalism is an economic theory that works well for especially hierarchy.  When it is combined with government it seems to be dictatorship or organized crime, which seem one and the same.        —

Having mentioned the privilege of Liz byway of association with Lynn and Dick, that can certainly be a mixed blessing.  The thought of a hanging chad will forever strike revulsion in the hearts of some Americans.  Meanwhile Lynn was working at white-washing the legacy of, for example, George Washington who was a noteworthy Founder but very human with the foibles and contradictions of all human beings.  And so one supposes the same is FACTual of Dick and Don.  That’s a reason to take them both with a grain of salt and think for oneself.     —

From lakotalaw        –A couple weeks back, you saw our seventh “Water Wars” video — about Standing Rock’s delegation to Washington, D.C. to activate lawmakers and Beltway influencers to stop the Dakota Access pipeline (DAPL). Today, I share with you the next chapter in this important series, co-produced by us, Standing Rock, and the Great Plains Water Alliance on behalf of the entire Oceti Sakowin. This video highlights more of that important trip, including additional details of our meeting with Rep. Rashida Tlaib, and it bottom-lines Standing Rock’s primary message: by bringing our truth to D.C., we can inspire compassion and action.

As a friend of Lakota Law over the years, you’ve helped us immeasurably in our fight to end DAPL. You know the history: beginning with our resistance camps at Standing Rock, the Oceti Sakowin inspired a worldwide movement. You remember when Obama shut the pipeline down in September of 2016 only to have Trump take office the following January and put it on the fast track to completion. You recall my arrest at Last Child’s Camp and my fight for freedom. And you understand the legal battles over the pipeline itself — in which DAPL was ultimately allowed to keep operating despite the fact that a federal judge vacated its permit over environmental concerns, including violations of the National Environmental Policy Act.

To this day, the government has continued to abdicate responsibility by failing to release DAPL’s flawed Environmental Impact Statement for public review, as mandated by the courts. And — even as the Missouri River reaches historically low water levels, which increases the danger of DAPL — neither the oil company nor the government has provided Standing Rock with necessary information about emergency plans should a catastrophic spill occur.

That’s why this trip to the nation’s capital was critical. We were able to communicate our truth to legislators and other allies who can help us create change. By reminding them of the facts, we clear a pathway for compassion and action. So I want to thank you, once again, for your support. Until this pipeline is pulled from our sacred ground, we’ll never stop demanding justice — for the people on the frontlines, for our future generations, and for Unci Maka, our Grandmother Earth.

Wopila tanka — thank you for your friendship and compassion!

From          –As the world prepares for COP27 during the UN General Assembly and Climate Week in September, global climate justice movements are demanding governments and financial institutions take urgent climate action. Climate chaos and injustices continue to proliferate globally due to the interconnected systems of patriarchy, capitalism, racism, the commodification of nature, colonialism, and imperialism. To confront deepening interlocking crises and accelerate a path forward, women are collectively upholding and working to advance just and resilient community-led solutions.

****As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-

This is a reminder of how much we don’t know.  This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought.  We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate.  Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United.  But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy.  Who knew?
The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–          —#GreenSocialist Notes #76
Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.       —

Ross Perot in 1992 on NAFTA and the “Giant Sucking Sound”

Centralization is the lifeblood of the R&D duopoly.  It’s the way to enforce capitalism onto workers in 2022.———————–We can do better———-

That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
*******************************************************************—-Political Party affiliation of voters.–LEAGUE REFUSES TO “HELP PERPETRATE A FRAUD”

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!

Along with Climate Change, many people oppose the imperialism of the USA under control of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.  Use of the wealth of our nation should be to enhance quality of life for We The People rather than for imperialism.  Some people vote accordingly.
