Indoctrination seems to be an ability to pretend to what can be obvious isn’t.  This works best, it seems, during group think.  Apparently it is soothing to agree with others, even if that requires delusion.

When said delusion includes movement toward military action, awakening may be necessary.    –Albert Einstein said, “ I believe that Gandhi’s views were the most enlightened of all the political men of our time”. Ho Chi Minh stated, “ I and others may  be revolutionaries, but we are the disciples of Mahatma Gandhi , more or less.”–end of countercurrents info–
The Kingdom of God is Within You—-Leo Tolstoy—–Free to read, apparently, from gutenberg——
History and books are ignored in our current  common-core style of education.  Gandhi is said to have drawn inspiration from Leo Tolstoy.  The political Party occupation of culture in the USA has given us a deep and inane paranoia of all things Russian.  Many ideas from Russia aren’t hierarchical, if one may make this point which is a personal observation, considering the Tolstoy book The Kingdom of God Is Within You, and such thinkers as Gurdjieff and the borrowing of ideas of Prussian Karl Marx.      —  Accordingly, Gurdjieff presented his system, not as his own invention, but as an ancient tradition. It was not an exotic compilation that he had patched together during his travels through the east. It existed in complete form before he had met it – indeed, thousands of years before he had met it – and had been passed from one age to the next by people who had practiced its principles. This is a crucial point to bear in mind when approaching the Fourth Way, because in our age, it is naturally associated with the man who presented it in the twentieth century. While Gurdjieff could have claimed exclusivity to the knowledge that only he seemed to possess, he didn’t, and for a specific reason. The Fourth Way, by definition, has to have originated from above to below, or it couldn’t live up to its own claims of objectivity.–end of gudjieff info–
A hierarchically-surgical education system seems to mean too many of the public are unaware of the immensity of Russia and the diversity of people included in this nation.  Gurdjieff seems comfortably labeled as both a Russian and an Armenian, which complication shines light on the topic of the Ukraine, which may explain the Western confusion.  But that is another topic.  More to the point is the skepticism from Western hierarchy that promotes the economic system of capitalism that seem frightened of other ideas, that hampers understanding of “the other”.    –Does this mean the U.S., the U.K. and NATO don’t see the red line? Don’t they understand, in the way Lavrov uses this word, that accepting the new red line “is the key to everything?”–end of popularresistance info–
A public that is ignorant of its own history may be even more so about foreign nations.  That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist or that it isn’t paramount in importance to understand current events.
Foreign policy both deflects from criticism about bad governance in the USA, and promotes big-money interests globally for profit.  War as a vehicle for this anomaly seems troubling—–  –A Europe free of nuclear weaponsAll over the world, scientists and artists, soldiers and pacifists, women and men, young and old say: war is a disaster! For many, Europe is an aspiration, an economic model, a cultural reference, the very idea of welfare and social security. The European Union is growing and more and more countries are asking to join it.

Fascism is the collaboration between government and commercial interests.  Such collaboration has officiated during the challenge resulting in Climate Change.  Collaboration is also apparent as capitalism presumes to deliver a message that it is also free enterprise.  That is arguable, but it surely results of society in which we live.  We may wish to clarify our goals as pertains to the muddied results we are receiving.     –For many in the climate movement, Donald Trump’s defeat in 2020 was a moment of euphoric optimism. With Joe Biden in charge, we could look forward to a possible return to climate action and diplomacy. No longer would policy be shaped by denialists, politicians proudly in Exxon’s back pocket, and a media fixated on the “costs” of public investment. A year on, it’s become easier to see the limits of the Biden administration’s approach, and how little has really changed.–end of popularresistance info–
Manic partisanism is a FACT at the same time we could discuss the alarming similarities between Trumpism and Bidenism.  And so goes the Republican/Democratic duopoly.
And how does this get around to the topic on C-Span this morning of a nomination to the Supreme Court?  The open forum heard many callers on nomination of a Supreme Court Justice.  A caller reminded of an interesting FACT, which is unverified, but easily checked.  He said that 6 of the conservative Justices are Roman Catholic.  While the topic of race predominates as to who should be the nest Supreme Court Justice nomination, the matter of religion hasn’t been broached.
With a Pope with the power to excommunicate US bureaucrats, this seems of interest.  The USA isn’t supposed to be a theocracy, but sometime it feels like a theocracy buoyed by an oligarchy.  If politics didn’t enter into Supreme Court decisions, personal religious affiliation wouldn’t enter into the discussion.  But politics is ensconced on our Supreme Court currently.
And by the way, this calls up again the documentation of the forming of a theocracy in real time as one can read in Bloodline of The Holy Grail.—-
It’s not about the religion its about the documented bureaucracy.

A black woman on the Supreme Court is a FACT a long time arriving.  Perhaps without misogyny we would have Anita Hill as a Supreme Court Justice rather than Clarence Thomas.  But just now and due to politics as a team sport, that Joe Biden was shoe-horned into the Presidency by Jim Clyburn, and that both are Party animals, by its own volition cast shadow on the entire process.
Justice Steven Breyer (paraphrase) said that people have come to accept the Constitution.  People have come to accept the rule of law.
This is a saving grace of the USA.  But that the Supreme Court handed down the decision protecting Citizens United that legalized without legitimizing money in elections, we seem to have laws that control We The People while the big-money interest campaign contributions give the power to pass laws to politicians purchased by oligarchy.
We should be talking about Citizens United and campaign funding.  It isn’t surprising that James Carville speaks to the importance of free and fair elections, but says that anything goes in a campaign.  No it doesn’t.  Corruption is corruption, as supporters of Bernie Sanders are aware.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
Along with Climate Change, many people oppose the imperialism of the USA under control of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.  Use of the wealth of our nation should be to enhance quality of life for We The People rather than for imperialism.  Some people vote accordingly.I———————–That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
