Power can be derived from the allure of wealth while other power is derived from integrity.  Eventually the pain to the electorate from bedazzlement of wealth may be replaced by recognition of power as a result of integrity.  It’s like turning an ocean liner.            –In 2021, Turner ran on proposals like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. Sanders (I-VT) and New York’s Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez supported her. But Brown, who was endorsed by House Majority Whip James Clyburn (SC), pulled in corporate backers. The Squad is a group of six Democratic House members that was initially composed of four women elected in the 2018 midterm elections: Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan. They have since been joined by Jamaal Bowman of New York and Cori Bush of Missouri following the 2020 elections.Turner has been hinting at a rematch.

Health care that is for-profit is represented in ACA /Obamacare and has not lowered cost or provided a finer level of health care system in the USA.  This is what voters chose in 2020.  Perhaps the mediocrity of the US system along with the exorbitant cost will eventually become obvious to enough of the electorate to make a difference.  We would benefit from a 1-payer comprehensive public health care policy—–           –If you read the full American Prospect article by Barbara Caress, you will see much of the damage from Medicare privatization has already taken place without the public understanding the consequences. But if we are to have an ideal single payer Medicare for All health care financing program that will serve all of us, we must immediately realign our policy goals.–end of hjm info–

The same silence seems to happen on the topic of a 1-payer comprehensive public health care policy.
Obamacare/ACA was a tacit transfer of wealth from the 100% (government) to the 1% commercial interests in the health industry.  The C-Span call-in segment this morning was on the topic of so-called surprise health care bills.  Inability to be aware of the full cost of health care treatment has nothing to do with free enterprise or competition and everything to do with rule by corporations in a most predatory way.  When a person needs health care, trust in the system would be beneficial.  But in what may be a very critical moment in a person’s life, that that person is expected to make financially-guarded decisions about those providing life-saving services may not be dictatorship; but surely is akin to a hostage situation.
The US government, bought out by big-money interests, rather than supporting interests of We The People, have passed laws that support this system.  Admittedly a brow-beaten electorate has voted into positions of power politicians who are open to being bribed by big-money campaign donations which system is also due to the decision handed down by the Supreme Court to legalize Citizens United,  The Democratic/Republican duopoly that make up the American Capitalist Party has censored away 3rd-Party political views.
A prime example of this process was meritorious Jim Clyburn endorsing into office the Obamacare/ACA-friendly Joe Biden, but politicians profiting from the campaign-donation system that undermines free, fair, and clean elections.
Joe Biden has openly told We The People that we wished to remain loyal to our insurance carrier who are complicit in said surprise billing systems.  Without such indoctrination, we would have a President Bernie Sanders who promoted a 1-payer comprehensive public health care policy that would be less expensive as a system and to each individual person requiring health care
Pretense that a government-funded industrial health care policy is saving money for Americans is a sad ruse.  The USA needs, like other industrialized 1st-world nations, a 1-payer comprehensive public health care policy.
Politicians had no problem super-funding the Pentagon.  Their concern should be for the benefit of local community members, not to protect “American interests overseas”….WTF?
Local-community integrity challenges big-money insinuation.

An awakening to the miserable understanding about history is complicated with an equally dismal and meager reporting about current events.  Expand your view.  That is what an analytical thinker does.  You are perfectly capable of disregarding what you find to be incorrect.  Capitalist propaganda is as harmful as is communist propaganda.  Consider the society in the USA to confirm this FACT.      –Project Censored is an amazing venture that collects all of the most important stories from the last year that the corporate media chose not to tell us about. Lee Camp reports some of the highlights from this year, with stories about rising prescription drug prices killing the elderly, the strike wave that has shocked big business, the plight of the journalists who are exposing our ruling class, and more. Then Camp reports on the CIA’s admission that they have no proof for their Havana Syndrome conspiracy theory, and the unsurprising impacts of a Universal Basic Income pilot program in upstate New York.
Jaffer Khan exposes how the US has been training a militarized Ukrainian Nazi group, the Azov Battalion, since 2015. Members of the Azov Battalion have also been training white supremacist groups here in the US, including members of the Unite the Right coalition responsible for killing counter-protester Heather Heyer during one of their hate-rallies in Virginia. Finally, Anders Lee reports on how Maine’s governor recently vetoed a bill that would’ve protected agricultural workers from exploitative employers.–end of leecamp info–
And as long as we’re talking fun with thinking, one mentions The Secret Teachings of Jesus – Four Gnostic Gospels by Marvin Meyer.  The read was rather typical of other portions of a look into this religion until one got to the Gospel of John.  This is supposedly translated from the Nag Hammadi codices.

With years of reading about Buddhism, the Gospel of John resonated quite closely with much of what I’ve read from said studies.  One wonders why this isn’t more widely discussed.  In FACT it even touches on the Gurdjieff idea of remembering that is so difficult for every human being.  (Gurdjieff’s ideas are touched upon, not Gurdjieff himself, of course).

The point seems to be that the dismal ability to concentrate could be remedied by having a baseline understanding of these concepts.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
Along with Climate Change, many people oppose the imperialism of the USA under control of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.  Use of the wealth of our nation should be to enhance quality of life for We The People rather than for imperialism.  Some people vote accordingly.I———————–That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
