On 12/12/2021 the following discussion was hosted on C-Span.  The guest expressed the FACT that inordinate amount of funding from the US government is transferred to the Pentagon when the funding could be used to promote the well-being of We The People.  A caller promptly phoned in to say Ms. Vlahos was “stating the obvious, in a manner that implied the obvious shouldn’t be spoken.

One has noticed a growing tendency for challenging anyone “speaking the obvious”, perhaps by those who would prefer the focus remain on misinformation according to a campaign that advises the public “don’t believe our own eyes”. 
This is similar to the corporate-owned-state-influenced MSM that during the 2021 Presidential primary, questioned Bernie Sanders about his unchanging expression of policy.  His reply was that his message remained the same because nothing has changed.
In other words, a degrading campaign of misinformation seems disturbed when people “mention the obvious”, in a way that seems intended to draw attention to lies instead.
We should precisely hear more of the obvious, including the ethical reasons to support integrity over obfuscation campaigns.

If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
