EGO
We would do us a favor to remember that democracy is different from capitalism because democracy is inclusive and capitalism is hierarchical with white males owning the system and excluding whom they wish
.
This is a system of White Supremacy and and patriarchy, lest we forget in our somnolence and in FACT ego.
Between the 2, the greater threat to critical thought is ego.
History chooses to ignore the murder of black entrepreneurs of years gone by. This appears to be another indication of White Supremacy. Can anyone offer a better reason? One awaits a discussion.

Michael Steele on MSNBC this morning reminded black men entrepreneurs that while the Trump candidacy courts their votes because “we are entrepreneurs and you are entrepreneurs” should be considered with skepticism.
This is wise council when remembers at the same time the blocking of funding for entrepreneurs who are black women. Whether this is racism or misogyny is a good question, and the Democratic Base did themselves no favors in their 2020 Presidential campaign strategy of pandering to the black vote by blaming the woes of their group on women…..especially white women.
One suggests critical thinking to informed voters.
Ego is the downfall, for example, to NYS Representative Molinaro who is an otherwise thoughtful politician, who is playing the orange savior sycophant. Cronyism in The Southern Tier is rampant, considering the collaboration between the Broome County Sheriff and the DA. Blatant ego is obvious, but ethics is as important.
Speake Mike Johnson’s visit to Binghamton draws protests; Molinaro responds—
U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson’s visit to Binghamton Thursday in support of Republican Rep. Marc Molinaro drew protests.
Marc Molinaro, who represents the Binghamton, Cortland and Ithaca areas, called the verdict a “perversion of our justice system” in a statement on social media. “The leading contender for the presidency doesn’t belong behind bars. It’s disgraceful, unprecedented, and bad for democracy,” the congressman wrote.Jun 3, 2024

Johnson was in town for the statewide Republican convention earlier in the day, later making a quick stop at the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.
In part, his visit was aimed at supporting Molinaro’s reelection bid in a seat that could shape the future of power in the GOP.
Protestors took issue with the move.
“Molinaro is a rubber stamp for this guy. Invites him in our backyard here in Binghamton. It’s unacceptable. And Molinaro shows with his votes. He’s not for the people of the 19th District,” said Ravo Root, community organizer for Citizen Action of New York.

Entering The Southern Tier cronyism we find not only the Broome County Sheriff, but also Johnson and Molinaro. A discussion would be of interest with the rhetoric that they are pro-law enforcement that should be to protect and serve the public, MAGA demand to excuse criminality of Trump, and support for “protesters” of 1-6.

Meanwhile Maga puppet Molinaro has entered for law, a bill that cracks down on protesters by labeling anti- Israeli government activists as anti=semitic. We should recall that hosts of Jews are also protesting the genocidal Israeli government. Many Jews will therefore be labeled anti-semitic under law by Molinaro, or wilill this pertain only to Palestinians. Will this be support for apartheid in the UsA? Apartheid, by the way, is hierarchical and inclusive of protection of White Supremacy and patriarchy. Consider your vote for Molinaro critically and devoid of ego.
On the patriarchal refrain that we are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic, neither are we capitalistic. Confusion by rhetoric that capitalism is democracy is silly. Democracy, as heard on a Bill Moyers’ discussion, reminds that governments don’t do democracy, people do. Meanwhile under capitalism is emphatically hierarchy and excludes any but those at the top of the Pyramid Scheme.
And as to the Constitutional Republic as capitalistic, it mirrors the PRC that is a Constitutional Republic and is communistic….tomato/tomoto……
Therefore China doesn’t need to compare communism to democracy. The USA must equate cynically democracy with capitalism. They are directly opposite, but somnolent Americans tend to believe this, through pure laziness.
