WOKE IN AMERICA
The value from C-Span is the conversation devoid of MSM propaganda.
Andy Ogles was speaking my language when he said the US must take care of our own citizens before bailing out Ukraine, until in the next breathe he denigrated the “woke” training for Marines. As one who holds her nose over the illiterate concept of “wokeness”, still it is the terminology from a predominantly diverse group of Americans, attempting to have voices heard. As to Ogles ad his double-talk about “taking care of our own people ahead of Ukrainian”, diverse Americans are “our people”, yet people of his ilk are quite happy to wave their Supremacy in the faces of fellow Americans.
In one person’s view, this is the offensive type of governing from patriarchy that embraces “crack down” as a governing technique, except for their network, cronies and friends. In other words, dictatorship looms.

In contrast, the next C-Span guest, John Larsen, articulated a less mean-spirited attitude that is more acceptable to peace and inclusion. This style of governing seems most functional, as compared to the apparent mean-spirited words from Andy Ogles, in one person’s view.

The point is, that aside from the illiterate description of teaching “wokeness”, the application is important in a nation where the least among us may have been elevated to the leadership ranks. This in itself supports the need for said training among those afflicted with hubris and ignorance.
Indeed the Ogles’ notion is well taken, that American taxpayer money can be better used for the needs of the American people, perhaps such as a classical education, rather than to support interests of international oligarchs against local communities, it is precisely in the wheel house of Representative Ogles to so pass laws. One awaits his actions.
