C-Span ran a bit of a speech by someone named Mike Gallagher-R, in which he said (paraphrase) the CCP (China) took advantage of US “good faith”. Probably he’s referring to the blind trust of US politicians (AKA jumping through corporate hoops) in imposing the national security risk upon the US public known as globalism, in which jobs, manufacturing, and control evolved to China.
Some people would say that the CCP (China) took advantage of American greed.
When The MIlitary-Industrial Complex puts words into the mouths of We The People, peace may not be the result.
As was once said in the financial industry pre-Reagan, you can’t cheat an honest man. Is to recall this phrase in 2023 indicative of one who is “too Pollyanna-ish”?
And so we are hearing once again about the evils of the “Communist Party” of other nations, from the Capitalist Party of the USA. And so the D&R duopoly defines their version of reality to We The People, who so far act in positions of immaturity.

Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate. Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary. This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People. Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
