C-Span presented a political campaign commercial at about 7:21 AM in which the politician said he supported the CHIPS Act that brings manufacturing back to the USA.    So many politicians are jumping on the bandwagon of returning manufacturing to the USA without explaining the reason they desecrated manufacturing in the USA in the first place.  By the way these same politicians are still receiving big-donor campaign contributions byway of Citizens United that casts shadow on veracity and honesty.

C-Span at 7:45AM a caller alluded to employment and the constraints placed upon employees by employers.  One also hears retirees call in with views that they attribute to having more time on their hands to pay attention to what’s going on.  One suggests that Free Speech is also enhanced when one is no longer on the corporate payroll.  This seems a type of censorship.  Especially as Citizens United compels politicians to do the bidding of corporations, one sees a type of dictatorship.

Under capitalism competition has been raised as a virtue over cooperation.  Under this system life has been modeled according to principles of dog fights that are despicable and illegal. Not so for humanity.

C-Span also hosted a call from a person who reminded that in the UK, Prime Minister Truss lasted in office fore 2 weeks ore so.  In the USA the public has been domesticated to tolerate negligence and self-interest in public office. We don’t have to so accept.

Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
