LAW OF THE JUNGLE

As toxic Supremacist patriarchy spreads in the USA, living conditions for women and perhaps the elderly seems to become dangerous.  One can’t help but recall that in Medieval Europe, elderly women were also ostracized and hunted down by toxic patriarchy.

Negligence cases like Thomas’ rarely go to trial, and usually settle out of court – and out of the public eye – without the company admitting to wrongdoing. That’s often been true even when consumers were assaulted, tortured, raped or murdered.

At Charter, court records show Holden had racked up disciplinary actions and taken pictures of driver’s licenses and credit cards at the homes of two elderly female customers. He asked his operations manager for money and he requested mental health intervention through Charter’s employee assistance program.

Yet he continued to be sent on field calls. Holden was scheduled to work at Thomas’ house on Dec. 11, 2019, at 1 p.m, according to the incident report by the Irving Police Department. He returned the next day and murdered her.

One may be especially sensitive to such instances for several reasons.  Most recently one was dismayed to watch the 2020 Democratic Party campaign strategists blame the woe of the world on women, and to use the phrase coined by said strategists…..”especially white women”.  This soft misogyny seemed to pave the way for the Republican Party success story of clamping down on rights of women that is unfolding currently.  Physiognomy does not preclude human rights, and does not give domination or supremacy to one sex over another.  The only way this would make sense is if we accepted the law of the jungle in our societies.

If we do accept the law of the jungle in our societies, more weight and respect would be given to brawn than to intelligence.  This wouldn’t bode well for humanity or nature.  Yet this may be where we are.

From Wildhunt  —  https://wildhunt.org/2022/07/scottish-apologies-for-the-witch-trials.html           –EDINBURGH, Scotland – Back in March, on International Women’s Day, Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s first minister, gave an apology to everyone who suffered under the Witchcraft Act, stating that:

“At a time when women were not even allowed to speak as witnesses in a courtroom, they were accused and killed because they were poor, different, vulnerable or in many cases just because they were women. It was injustice on a colossal scale, driven at least in part by misogyny in its most literal sense, hatred of women. Today on International Women’s Day, as first minister on behalf of the Scottish government, I am choosing to acknowledge that egregious historic injustice and extend a formal posthumous apology to all of those accused, convicted, vilified or executed under the Witchcraft Act of 1563.”

The Scottish establishment has, however, now gone further: Natalie Don, MSP for Renfrewshire North and West, has launched a new consultation into witchcraft convictions and would like to see an official pardon for all those convicted of witchcraft. Current estimates suggest that this was around 2,500 people, 85% of whom were women.

Even in 2022, mention of the murder of thousands of women is almost received as a punchline.  The very appropriate apology of the Pope to Native Americans (North Americans)  is a first step with never a mention of an apology, as though that could help, to women.

Scotland did the right thing.  Other nations can follow, including the Americas…..and institutionalized religion.

Both men in the following scenario shrugged off sexual harassment allegations (only allegations) with impunity to go on to run the nation and dictate the mores and mandates for the rest of us.  –https://twitter.com/JeremyWard33/status/1551892590496210945——-

In law of the jungle mindset, peace will be seen as weakness and war will prevail.   Hmmm, does this tell us anything?  Also Climate Change may be a business model.

Violence arises economically and isn’t only physical.  When “government is fun like a business”, fascism thrives.

Violence can be subtle but no less dictatorial.

From ralphnader—-              https://mailchi.mp/nader/a-runaround-between-caller-and-callee-d82gssmtk7?e=cfd1bea9b5         –Here are some areas of abuse. Our Constitution’s First Amendment protects more than freedom of speech, press and religion. It adds the “right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” “Grievances” include more than personal affronts or injustices, such as petitions to get the government to enact or repeal policies, practices or other behaviors. I am confident in saying that members of Congress and their staff have never been more unresponsive to serious petitions (letters, calls, emails and old-fashioned petitions) on important issues than today.

Institutions of learning at all levels in the red states are becoming laboratories for what I term the Nazification of American education, replicating pedagogies of repression that were at work in Germany in the 1930s.

One was dismayed to hear Biden thank a bank CEO for taking his calls.  Really?  The meekness from a US President was revolting in a nation that wields imperialism in order to “spread democracy around the world”.

This is not to suggest that the belligerence and bluster of past Presidents were mollifying.  Today on C-Span the topic was inflation.

9:30AM–Representative French Hill–paraphrase–speaks of commercial lobby groups who bemoan “supply chain” disruption problems “they are dealing with” as a reason to curtail regulation of commercial interests.

On the “supply chain” disruption that Hill seemed to suggest is causing inflation, among other things, is the topic of tariffs.

Trump installed tariffs on manufactured goods arriving in the USA.  Several thoughts—

*Tariffs are a tool that has been used to tax imports in order to give exports and US-made products a salable edge

*Outsourcing is advantageous to business interests who buy cheap labor overseas and ship goods into the USA

*This has destroyed any concept of the import-export balance

*If regulation passed by Citizens United purchased politicians outsourced manufacturing, the US consumer has no recourse other than to buy foreign products

*This seems to mean the Trump tariff now in place is nothing other than a tax on the US consumer——https://taxfoundation.org/who-really-pays-tariffs/

*For anyone who has forgotten, after imposition of the Trump tariff, prices immediately rose, which began the inflation ride

It’s almost as if it isn’t nation against nation, but rather elites over everyone else worldwide.

Consider that even after 9/11, in which Saudis were implicated because a number of 9/11 attackers enjoyed that nationality, US politicians have continued close ties to this nation.  Even the so-called NYC first responders who seemed to inordinately support Trump, seem to have become discontented with their overlord due to said ties…..finally…….better late than never.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-07-28/trump-says-saudi-funded-tour-creates-gold-rush-for-players–Bedminster, N.J. (AP) — Former President Donald Trump played another round at his home course Thursday, this one different from so many others. He was part of the Saudi-funded LIV Golf Invitational pro-am, put on by a breakaway league he says is creating a “gold rush” for players.

The US D&R duopoly clarion call to “hold your nose and vote” according to political Party mandate is taking on a very offense reality.

On the topic of tariffs and the reason to retain them, one has recently heard bureaucrats say there are geopolitical reasons and national security reasons to retain Trump tariffs.  Considering they are paid by American consumers, whose national security interest is protected?  Surely not that of the consumer.  A balanced import-export ratio connotes a strong American economy. If this isn’t the goal, the goal feels like it is transfer of the wealth of the nation from the 100% to the 1%.  Is this now what stands for national security?  And if it does, this feels like a dictatorship.  One awaits enlightening from bureaucrats and Citizens United-purchased politicians……and corporate-owned-state-run media.

And who is still trusting Trump?   Or Biden, for that matter.

Passage of the CHIPS Act have included back-slapping by politicians over returning a crucial manufacturing system to the USA.  So why did it ever leave?

And yet capitalistic hierarchical Establishment buzzes along as though nobody can see them.

Democratic Establishment is said to search for a Biden replacement candidate for 2024.  So even the sonorous and droning tones of Jim Clyburn have lost their magic?  It’s about time, boys and girls.

****As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-
This is a reminder of how much we don’t know.  This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought.  We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate.  Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United.  But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy.  Who knew?
The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbdkuU1edw          —#GreenSocialist Notes #76
Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ7kn2-GEmM       —

Centralization is the lifeblood of the R&D duopoly.  It’s the way to enforce capitalism onto workers in 2022.———————–We can do better———-

That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!

Along with Climate Change, many people oppose the imperialism of the USA under control of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.  Use of the wealth of our nation should be to enhance quality of life for We The People rather than for imperialism.  Some people vote accordingly.
