Some people are perplexed with the left-wing reproach toward Conservatives on the topic of misogyny when the soft misogyny during the 2020 Democratic Party campaign seemed acceptable…….to use the Dem-strategist phrase “especially toward white women”……..at the same time the topic of Choice was missing. Misogyny appears to be so indoctrinated as to be like wall paper.
https://www.commondreams.org/news/2022/07/29/truly-disgusting-alito-mocks-critics-anti-abortion-ruling-pregnant-people-suffer?utm_source=daily_newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=daily_newslett –Susan Rinkunas, a senior reporter at Jezebel, wrote on Twitter that “Alito is out here making cute little jokes about the decision he authored that is forcing women to deliver dead fetuses and risk going septic from their incomplete miscarriages.”

The attitude of Alito who is a member of a highly questionable Supreme Court, is typical. The Kavanaugh hearing would inform as to the level of misogyny that is acceptable if even noticed.
Another example is the long-overdue apology from the Pope toward Indigenous Americans, while the genocide of women goes unacknowledged.
From Wildhunt — https://wildhunt.org/2022/07/scottish-apologies-for-the-witch-trials.html –EDINBURGH, Scotland – Back in March, on International Women’s Day, Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s first minister, gave an apology to everyone who suffered under the Witchcraft Act, stating that:
“At a time when women were not even allowed to speak as witnesses in a courtroom, they were accused and killed because they were poor, different, vulnerable or in many cases just because they were women. It was injustice on a colossal scale, driven at least in part by misogyny in its most literal sense, hatred of women. Today on International Women’s Day, as first minister on behalf of the Scottish government, I am choosing to acknowledge that egregious historic injustice and extend a formal posthumous apology to all of those accused, convicted, vilified or executed under the Witchcraft Act of 1563.”
The Scottish establishment has, however, now gone further: Natalie Don, MSP for Renfrewshire North and West, has launched a new consultation into witchcraft convictions and would like to see an official pardon for all those convicted of witchcraft. Current estimates suggest that this was around 2,500 people, 85% of whom were women.

Even in 2022, mention of the murder of thousands of women is almost received as a punchline. The very appropriate apology of the Pope to Native Americans (North Americans) is a first step with never a mention of an apology, as though that could help, to women.
Scotland did the right thing. Other nations can follow, including the Americas…..and institutionalized religion.
How handy is it for patriarchal hierarchical Establishment to espouse institutionalized beliefs that half of the population is rife for punishment. And by the way, this seems to be more an institutionalized belief that may not necessarily equate with The Creator, in whatever way each person imagines Him/Her/It/Cause-and-Effect.
One is pleased to give a negative critique on this topic about confusion from institutionalized religion, in an attempt at fairness. Each person can consider for oneself. The fascination is in the documentation, not the religious belief. Again, that’s a personal matter. The book Bloodlines of The Holy Grail includes historical documentation. Faith is another and personal issue. Believe what one wishes.
https://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/biblianazar/esp_biblianazar_11.htm –Today we shall embark upon the time-honoured Quest for the Holy Grail. Some have called it the Ultimate Quest, but the Christian Church has condemned it as a heresy.
A Christian heresy is described as ’an opinion which is contrary to the orthodox dogma of the Christian bishops’ and, in this regard, those other quests which comprise much of today’s scientific and medical research are equally heretical. The word ’heresy’ is, in essence, nothing more than a derogatory label – a tag used by a fearful Church establishment that has long sought to maintain control of society through fear of the unknown. A heresy can therefore define those aspects of philosophy and research which quest into the realms of the unknown and which, from time to time, provide answers and solutions that are quite contrary to Church doctrine.

Some people find charming the warning from institutionalized religion to beware…. those aspects of philosophy and research which quest into the realms of the unknown.
Really? That’s the response?
Some people view the book Bloodlines as a quite historically FACTual or probable account of the life of Jesus. It does however seem to lack misogyny.
These views aren’t about institutionalized religion, but rather about misogyny. One views misogyny as an excuse for human rights violations.
The difference is that devoid of the role of women in the life cycle as a punishment from God, the role of women in the life cycle seems based upon wisdom and strength.
And so the Pope could display intellectual honesty if he acknowledged targeted harm toward women.
And what’s up with all these freakin’ edicts, anyway. How do they have the time?—–
***http://ili.nativeweb.org/sdrm_art.html –When Christopher Columbus first set foot on the white sands of Guanahani island, he performed a ceremony to “take possession” of the land for the king and queen of Spain, acting under the international laws of Western Christendom. Although the story of Columbus’ “discovery” has taken on mythological proportions in most of the Western world, few people are aware that his act of “possession” was based on a religious doctrine now known in history as the Doctrine of Discovery. Even fewer people realize that today – five centuries later – the United States government still uses this archaic Judeo-Christian doctrine to deny the rights of Native American Indians.

The papal bull (or decree) Summis desiderantes affectibus, issued in 1484 by Pope Innocent VIII (1484-1492), specifically addressed the malign presence of witches and witchcraft in the Holy Roman Empire and authorized a formal inquisition into their activities. It was one of several official condemnations of heretics and other enemies of Christendom, both groups and individuals, issued during Innocent VII’s reign.–end of pdxscholar info–
Admittedly these are ancient edicts; but curiously the spirit of the edicts live on. Sort of like the Monroe Doctrine.

****As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-
This is a reminder of how much we don’t know. This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought. We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate. Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United. But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy. Who knew?
The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbdkuU1edw —#GreenSocialist Notes #76
Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate. Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary. This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People. Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ7kn2-GEmM —

Centralization is the lifeblood of the R&D duopoly. It’s the way to enforce capitalism onto workers in 2022.———————–We can do better———-
That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM. In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican. The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.
Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic. Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped. The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show. Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored. (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control). The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression. Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
Along with Climate Change, many people oppose the imperialism of the USA under control of the Republican/Democratic duopoly. Use of the wealth of our nation should be to enhance quality of life for We The People rather than for imperialism. Some people vote accordingly.
