The Metaverse Is Worse Than You Think—full-length version
Virtual food may suit those who are enamored of progress at all cost and/or technology for its own sake rather than for service to people or nature.
Technology leading people into virtual reality raises ideas that those who revel in such progress based in technology seem often to be the same who disdain spiritual understanding in others.
Progress that is defined in terms of greed, privilege and exploitation seem required when we wish to use finite resources for infinite growth. So many within Establishment promote growth as the only way to outpace, for example, inflation. This seems absurd. The system generated matches capitalism, and unabated capitalism seems to become either of or both organized crime or fascism. These results are often labeled as White Supremacists, but this notion also could be questioned.—–https://moguldom.com/411788/atlanta-fulton-county-da-says-shes-getting-death-threats-over-rico-against-young-thug-and-ysl/?utm_source=moengage&utm_medium=push&utm_campaign=subscribed –Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said she has been getting death threats since she announced indictments in May against hip-hop artists Young Thug, Gunna, and other members of Young Stoner Life Records (YSL) on racketeering charges.

Stephen Moore on the Economy and Biden Administration Economic Policies
Stephen Moore talked about the economic outlook and Biden administration economic policies.
.–end of c-span info–
Stephen Moore seemed careful to end his pro-economy exuberance using the phrase “as pertains to the economy”. American consumers indoctrinated into compliance to capitalism will avoid considering that everything is not about money. His visions of policy promote transfer of the wealth of the nation from the 100% to the 1% according to precepts of hierarchical capitalism, and this presumes exploitation of human resources (people) and natural resources (environment) to that end.
One appreciates the subtly of C-Span to open discussion about disparate topics one after the other as a means to hear both.
Jennifer Yachnin spoke to unprecedented drought conditions that will mitigate the exuberance of hierarchical greed for most of the world’s people. A caller mentioned that Biden would have been fired if he was a CEO of a Fortune 500 corporation. One believes Biden should be fired as President of a democratic republic. But the inanity of supposing that government should be “run like a business” is desperately predatory in character, and describes organized crime or fascism. When “government is run like a business” we get the Climate Change catastrophes as we now deal.
This is the modern-day acceptance of virtual life.
Stephen Moore seemed to speak to the FACT that fossil fuel pipelines that he wishes crossing the nation to be safer than rail transport, and spoke of transporting fossil fuels this way as simply as is water transported, ignoring the difference in danger when each spills. This was a slick ad soundbite pertaining to economics but not to environmental impact. The worry isn’t the statement because we have Free Speech so far in the USA. The worry is a public trained into docile acceptance of ad-similar statements without ability to analyze veracity.
Virtual indoctrination may contribute to childlike acceptance.
Many Americans weren’t even around in 1977, and use the hubris of accusing others of inaction, as they put hope in future technology that will permit unlivable current lifestyle. FACTually we must understand the inanity of infinite growth using finite resources. Just as total immersion into one’s spirituality implies physical death, as was displayed by Buddhist monks who set themselves on fire in protest of the Vietnam War, virtual reality implies the same. Physical reality, meanwhile, implies balance. Now is a good time to give sanity and balance a try., so long as we are on this physical plane, for whatever reason.

However, I believe that we must now take the potential co2 hazard into account in developing our long-term energy stragegy. Beyond conservation, we must be prepared to exploit nuclear energy more fully. As insurance against over-reliance on a nuclear energy economy, we should emphasize targeted basic research which could lead to breakthroughs for solar electric, biomass conversion or other renewable energy sources.

This feels similar to an attempt by the Broome County Sheriff to inflict a shooting range in a rural area among peaceful and long-settled neighborhoods. Most people respect law enforcement while questioning growing authoritarianism and imposition from that area. Perhaps we need to define and discuss what is a police state.

The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbdkuU1edw —#GreenSocialist Notes #76
Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate. Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary. This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People. Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.
