THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS
Showing up to sooth the masses seem like a good idea for politicians; the fly in the ointment is suspicious photo ops devoid of explanation of dictatorial presumption.

And by the way, neither Angelino or Molinaro have exhibited concern about the Climate Change supporting abnormal weather that is harming people as much as anything else.  The political negligence feels like justification for sycophantic behavior toward big-money campaign donors.  The Southern Tier seems especially delicately inclined toward their upper-crust crony cadre.

Congressman Marc Molinaro, Senator Peter Oberacker and Assemblyman Joe Angelino visited the Russell Brook Campsite, which was hit hard by the storms. According to the Town of Colchester Police Department, one woman died after an uprooted tree fell on top of heAfter assessing the damage, Molinaro explained crews are working overtime to clean up the roads.

”Overwhelmingly, we want to extend our thoughts and prayers to those impacted and acknowledge that both our road crews and first responders will be working pretty hard through the next few days and weeks to restore both road access, and electricity and provide assistance,” Molinaro said. “In the event any of us can be of assistance to property owners and to the community, we’re going to do that.”–end of wbng.com

Molinaro Introduces Bipartisan Bill To Crack Down On Antisemitism On College Campuses

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Reps. Marc Molinaro (R-NY-19) and Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ-5) today introduced the College Antisemitism Transparency Act to crack down on antisemitic demonstrations on Cornell University, Binghamton University, and college campuses across the county. Earlier this month on Fox News, Reps. Molinaro and Gottheimer also discussed their bipartisan efforts to combat antisemitism.

Rep. Molinaro’s bipartisan bill will force colleges and universities receiving federal funding to sign an annual statement acknowledging that discrimination of any form is a violation of law and results in the loss of federal funds. It will also require schools to report every antisemitic incident on campus to the Department of Education and explain what was done to resolve it.

Rep. Molinaro said, “American taxpayers should not be subsidizing hate. Colleges and universities that allow antisemitism and hostility towards Jewish students will be held accountable for their discriminatory actions.”—–end of molinaro press release——

NYS Rep. Molinaro is incoherent in his equating peaceful Palestinian/Jewish student anti-war and anti-apartheid protests with hate Speech.  As NYS Rep. Molinaro takes advantage of a Climate-Change storm in Delaware County and offers bleeding heart thoughts and prayers for the victims ignored by local politicians aside from happy photo-op opportunities, he bemoans phantom Hate Speech without explaining evidence, that leads some people to believe this is his backdoor way to introduce a law that, after labeling of youngsters as antisemitic, will open the door to then monitoring them as domestic terrorists.  This by the way, opens a conversation as to just who is the domestic terrorist.  Projection may be at play,

One especially is concerned about the incoherence of that which one is watching from local political cronies, when one understands that both Cornell University and Binghamton SUNY students and bureaucrats and executives, who dovetailed admirably in dealing with each other and their particular requirements.  This was a democratic (small d) exhibit of civilization about which NYS Rep. Molinaro seems even more unintelligible about.

While NYS Rep Molinaro was grandstanding at the site of the Climate Change promoted storm damage in Delaware County, NYS Rep. Molinaro might have taken the opportunity to ‘splain his “law” to label responsible American citizens and residents as antisemitic, if they criticize the genocidal Israeli government.  And this seems a half step away from enacting such “laws” as Hate Speech, who may criticize sleazy American politicians.

While nonsense laws to “crack down” on honest and responsible citizens are sanctimoniously proposed by MAGA-controlled politicians,  the MAGA-controlled Supreme Court is handing down an edict that Donald Trump is above the law.  The silence from NYS Rep Molinaro on this topic, and with his hostility toward peaceful Americans, brings into questions his mindset.

One is particularly interested in this politician due to his position in our Federal government and his participation in the questionable local patriarchal political crony network.  One has in the past mentioned the endorsement of a Broome County Sheriff for his Broome County Sheriff’s Deputy, into the office of NYS Senator, who then passed edicts for the benefit of outside interests, and then hopped back into the role of Broome County Sheriff (after the first Sheriff retired), and then went on a campaign of endorsing his cronies.

None of this is illegal, but it is sleazy and inbred.  This is unhealthy for We The People, and it has not yet been adequately discussed.  Local media could broach these important topics, but seem trying to go along to get along.  this is understandable, considering the hierarchical character of capitalism, which is NOT our system, but has been indoctrinated into a public bullied into compliance and acceptance, using the bait of the income without which we experience personal tragedy.  And so goes the system.

House Speaker Mike Johnson to travel to Binghamton for event with Rep. Molinaro

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., will travel to Binghamton Thursday for an event with Republican U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro focused on law enforcement funding and public safety.

The Thursday meeting will be at the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and is said to feature sheriff’s deputies, neighboring law enforcement, other first responders and families.

Johnson’s trip comes as Molinaro seeks reelection in the 19th Congressional District. Broome County is the most-populous county there and could play a large role in in the upcoming election. Molinaro is being challenged by Democrat Josh Riley, who is from Endicott, a village just outside Binghamton. Molinaro flipped the seat in 2022, defeating Riley by about 4,500 votes. –end of spectrum info–

Citizen involvement is required in a system that has gone so far off track as to have concluded that because a pocket of voters won the power position politically speaking, often by gerrymandering, this gives the right to said politician, motivated by campaign donations, to mark his territory over perhaps a majority of honest citizens.  This feels too nearly like dictatorship, and now with the Supreme Court decision of immunity for politicians, the circle of corruption is closing.

To legislate morality is a fools game.  To discuss transparently who we as a people wish to be, and to investigate the offensive transgressions of crony politicians, is healthy democracy.  As heard on a Bill Boyer’s years ago, governments don’t do democracy, people do.

When crony politicians begin to regurgitate party propaganda, and laws to “crack down” on Free Speech, we have wandered into the system of communism such as the system of another Republic, which is the PRC.
