CLIMATE CHANGE DENIAL

CLIMATE CHANGE DENIAL–Governmental response to the reality of Climate Change has been wholly chaotic and nonsensical.  Policy can be discussed, the FACT of devastation caused by weather-pattern changes cannot be denied.

A bridge near a Minnesota dam may collapse. Officials say they can do little to stop it

The floodwaters forged a new river channel around the dam cut deeply into a steep riverbank, toppling utility poles, wrecking a substation, swallowing a home and forcing the removal of a beloved store. The conditions have made it too dangerous for officials to get close enough for a thorough inspection of the bridge, but they have already identified troubling signs of damage.

The following is a copy and paste from a previous post to explain one’s thoughts about NYS Rep. Molinaro, only because he is running for his candidacy and a reminder about his denial and coordination with the obfuscation of MAGA including Trump—-Showing up to sooth the masses seem like a good idea for politicians; the fly in the ointment is suspicious photo ops devoid of explanation of dictatorial presumption.

And by the way, neither Angelino or Molinaro have exhibited concern about the Climate Change supporting abnormal weather that is harming people as much as anything else.  The political negligence feels like justification for sycophantic behavior toward big-money campaign donors.  The Southern Tier seems especially delicately inclined toward their upper-crust crony cadre.

Congressman Marc Molinaro, Senator Peter Oberacker and Assemblyman Joe Angelino visited the Russell Brook Campsite, which was hit hard by the storms. According to the Town of Colchester Police Department, one woman died after an uprooted tree fell on top of heAfter assessing the damage, Molinaro explained crews are working overtime to clean up the roads.

”Overwhelmingly, we want to extend our thoughts and prayers to those impacted and acknowledge that both our road crews and first responders will be working pretty hard through the next few days and weeks to restore both road access, and electricity and provide assistance,” Molinaro said. “In the event any of us can be of assistance to property owners and to the community, we’re going to do that.”–end of wbng.com

Molinaro Introduces Bipartisan Bill To Crack Down On Antisemitism On College Campuses

–end of copy and paste from previously—————

The day after his alligator tear “thoughts and prayers” photo op in which he mentioned nothing about the industrial-promoted Climate Change that is largely responsible for a panoply of destructive climate events, NYS Rep. Molinaro again displayed on local news to inform We The People that he was taking steps to bring down grocery costs, overlooking the FACT that he has been in a position to do something previously.

That is the function of NYS Reps, boys and girls.  Thoughts and prayers feel like a private matter.  NYS Rep Molinaro seems confused as to his function.

As Chevron has been overturned and deregulation follows, in which politicians similarly as questionable and slick as NYS Rep. Molinaro has proven to be, one worries about the anti-fracking ban in NYS that has given us a bit of protection as compared to, for example, Pennsylvania.  Pa. has experienced environmental devastation due to fracking.  Since NYS Rep. Molinaro is absent from ability to speak of our strange new weather patterns, and his collaboration with MAGA politicians as they pursue big-money campaign donors, one fears a lift of the anti-fracking ban.

One’s hope is in NYS Governor Hochul, who one has watched ongoing campaigns for clean and renewable energy sources.  FACTually speaking, in Chenango County, NY we have watched myriads of solar panels installed, which though industrial, are curiously unnoticeable and inoffensive.

Judging from the collapsing dams due to Climate Change weather events across the nation, even the “experts” such as the Army Corps of Engineers who promoted engineering of the environment into quasi industrial parks, haven’t had the actual expertise to honesty.

Still, Representatives of the People have taken an oath of office that presupposes benevolence toward their constituents, that currently is not being honored.  And yet honor is a joke amount the MAGA politicians.

And while alluding to the curious abuse of positions of power, one has included the dismal story of a woman attempting to drown a Muslim/Palestinian child.  Yet one hasn’t heard of the legislation from NYS Rep. Molinaro that would mirror his Free-Speech negating law to label as antisemitic, anyone who spoke contrary to the notions of the genocidal Israeli government.  To install legislation that Speech about governmental policy according to the whims of MAGA politicians is deeply offensive.

And as to the President Biden candidacy, for whom one would never vote, it is admitted that the vagueness of President Biden is only equaled to the obfuscation and lies of ex-President Trump.  This appears to have given license to other politicians to act accordingly.

New York Constitution :: Article XIII – Public Officers :: Section 1 – Oath of office; no other test for public office–Members of the legislature, and all officers, executive and judicial, except such inferior officers as shall be by law exempted, shall, before they enter on the duties of their respective offices, take and subscribe the following oath or affirmation: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the constitution of the United States, and the constitution of the State of New York, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of ……, according to the best of my ability;” and no other oath, declaration or test shall be required as a qualification for any office of public trust, except that any committee of a political party may, by rule, provide for equal representation of the sexes on any such committee, and a state convention of a political party, at which candidates for public office are nominated, may, by rule, provide for equal representation of the sexes on any committee of such party. (Amended by Constitutional Convention of 1938 and approved by vote of the people November 8, 1938.)

House Speaker Mike Johnson to travel to Binghamton for event with Rep. Molinaro

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., will travel to Binghamton Thursday for an event with Republican U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro focused on law enforcement funding and public safety.

The Thursday meeting will be at the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and is said to feature sheriff’s deputies, neighboring law enforcement, other first responders and families.

Johnson’s trip comes as Molinaro seeks reelection in the 19th Congressional District. Broome County is the most-populous county there and could play a large role in in the upcoming election. Molinaro is being challenged by Democrat Josh Riley, who is from Endicott, a village just outside Binghamton. Molinaro flipped the seat in 2022, defeating Riley by about 4,500 votes.

One has long noticed an uncomfortable infiltration of patriarchal cronyism in the governance of The Southern Tier, first becoming unavoidably noticeable with the questionable efforts by NYS Senator Akshar, now Sheriff Akshar, (lawkeeper after having installed the laws of his wishes in his position as NYS Senator) and then the use of Akshar’s grandeur to endorse into public office, his cronies.

This isn’t illegal, but worthy of mention.  Especially considering NYS Rep. Molinaro’s sidestepping of matters of interest such as Climate Change devastation, liability, and cost to the public, in order to interject the sugar that makes the propaganda go down, that is sweetly upon his lips, ready for the photo op.

As one stated, one will never vote for either of Trump or Biden.  But since one is still, due to laziness, registered as a Democrat having switched from the Green Party in order that one could vote for Bernie Sanders in the Democratic Primary, which voting right was mitigated as the NYS legislature chose to disallow Bernie Sanders from the NYS ballot (we need ranked choice voting, anyway), one would choose to vote for a Democratic candidate Cory Booker.

One believes that corporate Senator Jim Clyburn would not shove up the noses of the voters, a Presidential candidate Cory Booker, however, because the corporate funders to Senator Jim Clyburn would not so approve.  To be a “powerful Senator” must indeed be heady stuff, regardless that the accompanying ego trip is destructive.  Emotion are at play.

So meanwhile, one continues to consider between a vote for Green Party Presidential candidate Jill Stein or Cornel West.

Please consider independence in voting, especially at this time of impossible choices.  As they say, it’s better to vote for the candidate you want and lose than to vote for the candidate you don’t want and win.
