WHENCE THE AGGRESSION?

WHENCE THE AGGRESSION?

One’s lifelong respect for Catholic nuns has again taken a leap forward, having begun with St. Hildegard of Bingen, along with the wonder of the unearned Supremacy of the institution’s patriarchy.  Also, the self-approved arrogance of said presumption to Supremacy is a matter of discussion.

One wonders at the arrogance from a football player who, at a women’s school graduation, presumes to indicate the choices said young women should assume about their attitudes toward their future.  If a young woman prefers the role of wife and mother, that is an honorable choice.  If she chooses a different path, it is her choice.  Patriarchy hierarchy has a problem discerning choice.  It doesn’t imply their choice for others.

https://www.aol.com/news/nuns-college-where-harrison-butker-230533642.html—-The sisters of Mount St. Scholastica, who describe their group as a founding institution and sponsor of Benedictine College, just shared a statement about the professional football player’s speech, saying his comments don’t “represent the Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts college that our founders envisioned and in which we have been so invested.”

Inspiration on the topic of freedom and choice, by the way, has been reinforced by knowledge (patriarchy needs some) about nuns from Catholic sources, as a matter of FACT.—

St. Hildegard of Bingen – Saints & Angels – Catholic Online

St. Hildegard, also known as St. Hildegard of Bingen and Sibyl of the Rhine, is a Doctor of the Church. She was also a writer, composer, philosopher, Christian mystic, and German Benedictine abbess. She was born around 1098 to a noble family as the youngest of ten children.

Her parents had promised their sick daughter to God, so they placed her in care of a Benedictine nun, Blessed Jutta, in the Diocese of Speyer at 8-years-old. She was taught how to read and sing the Latin psalms. Her holiness and strong piety made her adored by all who met her. It is said, from this young age, Hildegard began experiencing her visions.

May one posit that Church Fathers were simply envious of the instinctual insights from women?

Even in 2024, one wonders whether such suspicions from patriarchy have supported their arrogance and aggression.

Internalizing by said patriarchy of what have come to be known, by their broadcasting, as Western Values, may be the reason for the, for example, NYS Representative Molinaro’s violation against Free Speech.  Presumption that he can outlaw protests in the USA based upon his political expediency by promoting the nonsensical whims of his orange leader.

Speaking On House Floor, Rep. Molinaro Condemned Antisemitic Demonstrations At Cornell & Colleges Nationwide—-

Antisemitism Awareness Act

https://nyunews.com/news/2024/04/29/new-york-antisemitism-legislation/–A New York City representative announced plans for legislation that would allow the federal government to track incidents of antisemitism across U.S. colleges and withdraw funding from those unwilling to cooperate. The bill, introduced by Rep. Ritchie Torres, would mark the first legislation introduced in Congress addressing recent pro-Palestinian demonstrations and encampments at universities like NYU, Columbia University and Yale University.

Politicians, probably due to AIPAC-member campaign donations, are equating protests against Israeli-government apparent genocide against Palestinians, as anti-semitism.  Some people see this stance as anti-semitic toward the Jewish religion.  And from the view of Americans, this is the perfect smokescreen for politicians to annihilate Free Speech that is protected under the 1st and 2nd amendments.

One also supposes simple ignorance is a reason for such abject submission to hierarchical presumption will imply they can expect the same from others.

But one recognizes the mission by the orange leader and his sycophants and highlighted by Supreme Court Justice Alito who has chosen to display his sycophancy publicly by flying the American flag upside down, as part-and-parcel of the current GOP intention.

While assault against Free Speech is ongoing, one can be aware that the convicted murderer of a Black Lives Matter protester was pardoned by Texas Governor Abbott, in apparent support of a crack-down on Free Speech.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (Md.), the top Democrat on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, says it’s “worth investigating” whether lawmakers were drinking during Thursday’s explosive hearing, after rumors circulated that noncommittee members were intoxicated.

“I didn’t see the drinking by the gentlelady from New Mexico, Melanie Stansbury raised it, she said there are members drinking in the room, and that’s something that is worth investigating if there was in fact drinking taking place,” Raksin said on Fox News.

One has mentioned more than once over the years, the anomaly and arrogance of demands from some politicians and bureaucrats for laws for drug testing of the average common American, when we watch the shenanigans and desolate performance of our so-called leaders, beginning with the orange savior and followed by a streaming mass of sycophants.

And one enjoys continuing to remind NY’ers that within our midst and devoid of the self-promotion of so-called Representatives of The People such as Molinaro, our traditional hosts have thrived regardless of the European patriarchal system of exploitation of humanity and nature.  May they continue to do so while remembering the humanity of their traditions.—–

One would support a celebration of our hosts on Columbus Day, rather than a celebration of the morose genocidal Christopher.  Our local newbies presume too much in wallowing in Supremacy and patriarchy.

Haudenosaunee (Iroquois)—The Haudenosauneeor “people of the longhouse,” commonly referred to as Iroquois or Six Nations, are members of a confederacy of Indigenous nations known as the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Originally a confederacy of five nations inhabiting the northern part of New York state, the Haudenosaunee consisted of the SenecaCayugaOneidaOnondaga and Kanyen’kehà:ka (Mohawk). When the Tuscarora joined the confederacy early in the 18th century, it became known as the Six Nations. Today, Haudenosaunee live on well-populated reserves — known as reservations in the United States — as well as in off-reserve communities.

Judging by the “crack down” on Free Speech as exemplified by NYS Molinaro, perhaps its time to put our politicians and bureaucrats on “reserves”.

And this is where the bait-and-switch from organized crime occurs, in one’s personal opinion.  The new concept of “running government like a business” includes indoctrination such as urged by Stephen Moore that our government is about commercial interests rather than honorable government seems to be the next step in the hierarchical inculcation that predominates in commerce and business that destroys notions of justice incidental to a democratic Constitutional Republic.  To accept this notion of authoritarianism is highly questionable.

Ms. Deutchman on C-Span makes the point that commercial interests aren’t subject to Free Speech restrictions as is the government.  So as NYS Rep Molinaro is proposing a law that is about violating Free Speech rights by We The People that don’t synchronize with GOP policy that confuses anti-semitism with criticism of genocidal policy of a government of Israel that appear based on economic and political priorities of Israeli politicians,  seems specifically promotion of the US transition to “running government like a business” that obviously would permit violation of Free Speech rights.  This seems quite disqualifying of NYS Rep. Molinaro as a leader of We The People.  He seems oblivious of the US Constitution, toward which he took an Oath to uphold.  Rep. Molinaro seems quite conflicted.  Could Citizens United be the reason?  Our NYS ‘ole-boy-network is straddling justice and freedom with patriarchy that is hierarchical and specifically contrary to justice and freedom.

hi·er·ar·chy

  1. a system or organization in which people or groups are ranked one above the other according to status or authority.”the initiative was with those lower down in the hierarchy”

Eventually hierarchy can morph into a Pyramid Scheme.  Through personal experience in the Southern Tier, one suggests said system is a priority of a few elected leaders….Hmmmmm——not by way of personal experience, one also suggests nepotism, which seems another gift for hierarchy.  We are swimming in a swamp indeed.  The scum rises to the top.  But this is just a fear from one person.
