The Hamas/Israeli War is revealing FACTS that until now have been easy to overlook.  Have we returned to the times of Medieval warfare and governance, or did we never leave?

Should Americans have a discussion about the following?–

*Is it wise to maintain a colony in the Middle East in which American citizens seem to expect protection from the USA?

*Funds sent to Israel ostensibly for protection of said colony, seems not to have been competently used to that end

*Citizens of the US/Israel seem to have protested against the Administration that maintained their toothless ability to protect Israel

*Previous to 10/7, Establishment characters in the Middle East along with the USA seem to have been negotiating for a deal that seems to have involved economic interests pertaining to Establishment characters self interest

*During the Kushner/Trump Administration, Kushner was lauded as the bringer of peace to the Middle East

*Seemingly said peace, as usual, didn’t include the health and well-being of local communities of any stripe, but did involve eye-bulging amounts of cash for Establishment characters

*Meanwhile, a type of colonization seems to have happened by Saudi Arabia toward the USA, referring the golf dust-up and ensuing soiling of those walking through it, and the subverting of Arizona water rights to the use of Saudi Arabia

These feel like as-yet-to-be discussed topics from our politicians, some of which enjoy dual citizenship with Israel.  

With this colonization become popular in our modern-day world, can anyone wonder at the concern some nations could feel about encroachment from NATO nations to the borders of said nations?  One refers to the Ukraine/Russia War and the encroachment of NATO.

Should the USA be as particular about the safety of our own Homeland local communities, and when will this concern manifest?

The Military-Industrial Complex portrays righteousness in remind that collateral damage is unintended and to be avoided at all costs, and that all targets will be military.   Meanwhile massive and typically-occurring death and destruction of local communities is the reality.

The Medieval style of war in which opposing armies bivouaced in fields and shot at each other, with townspeople aligned on hilltops to picnic and cheer, are no longer the FACT.  Perhaps the last time that happened was the Civil War and perhaps the Tutsi/Hutu military inanity.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
