BUT WHAT THEY DO

The notion that “we are a 2-Party system” is a presumption of the Democratic and Republican Branches of the duopoly, and not based on Constitutional norms.  Other political Parties exist and in FACT have attracted the majority of voters.  The R&D duopoly have censored the voices of other Parties, and have passed laws prohibiting equal access.

Ranked choice voting would rectify most of the ills inflicted upon our electoral process by the duopoly.

The language of hierarchical Establishment seemed extant as the guest Lee Drutman opined that “if we had 5 or 6 political Parties…..”, as though we don’t.  We have perfectly viable political Parties outside of the D&R duopoly, but censorship doesn’t permit Free Speech.  To urge more political Parties without ranked choice voting is asking for more of the authoritarianism in elections in which voters are urged to “hold your nose and vote” so you don’t “waste your vote”.  And so we have the laughable presumption that a vote for Biden or Trump isn’t a waste of a vote.

Donald Trump and others react to PGA and LIV’s ‘big, beautiful, and glamorous deal’

–end of yahoo info—–For those who don’t follow history, Saudi Arabia is implicated in the 9/11 attack of the Twin Trade Towers in NYC.

Some people are blissfully unconcerned about institutionalized and corruption-attracting modern day sports, and is more concerned about the blatant offense and affront to We The People by global oligarchs.

The same characters who whine in political campaign speeches that “We will never forget” seem to have forgotten.  Everybody has a price.

Not to be too hard on the PGA, one watches the same predatory style of business practice cloaked in sportsmanship across the board.  That the Saudi takeover has highlighted the LIV/PGA circus is simply spicing up the common reality of institutionalized sports.

Particularly interesting is to watch PGA Establishment and Trump as they step in it.   Cronyism provides a bulwark behind which these characters act, but it doesn’t seem sufficient this time.

The Southern Tier of NYS awoke to the news of LIV/PGA partnership ostensibly on the same day of prelude to the Dick’s Golf event, waltzing local leaders, by PGA Establishment and Trump, through “it” along with said PGA Establishment and Trump, regardless that we are a mere 300 miles from 9/11 ground zero, and many locals raced to NYC on 9/11….the company you keep…..

Cronyism is a concern for some people in the Southern Tier of NYS.  Cronyism can be an alluring soft place to land for hierarchical Establishment characters, less so for outsiders to this circle.

Local legislators at the meeting were however insistent: Broome County needs a law to protect firefighters and EMT workers from being harassed on the job.  The possible penalty for being annoying?  A year in jail and a $5,000 fine. And to top that off, legislators pushed a resolution to support a state bill that would turn such assaults into a special category of a “hate crime”.[2]—end of justtalk info–

Several thoughts—-

*A large number of firefighters and EMT workers in the Southern Tier are volunteers

*Absurd is the notion that local-community members are antagonistic toward local firefighters and EMT workers

*Volunteer firefighters have been exposed to a growing level of dangerous fires due to chemicals and industrial toxicity associated more with industry than with home ownership

*Some may suggest that negligence toward EMT workers and firefighters are more nearly associated with capitalistic-leaning legislation than by antagonism from local-community members who are one-and-the-same with EMT workers and firefighters

It takes a militarized police force to abolish democracy.

One wishes one didn’t have this recent example to offer, yet one does.          – https://www.binghamtonhomepage.com/news/top-stories/update-on-j-c-middle-school-principal-attempted-rape-arrest/  —

Of as much interest as this sordid little bit of cliche about patriarchy is the undercurrent of testimony from families who have said they have attempted to speak out on this apparently ongoing behavior, to Establishment, to no avail.

Patriarchy has so positioned as to display as competent when it is simply a bulwark of cronies.  In the Southern Tier of NYS, Establishment has hammered the decrepitude of the public in order to install enhanced surveillance and authority.  This seems easy to do with the campaign-donor contributions that buoy the advertising that the public are a dangerous group of people.  That small portions of the public are a dangerous group of people seems to have caused too many to forget that the majority of the public are upstanding citizens worthy of trust.

Such advertising also glosses over the FACT that hierarchical Establishment characters also are worthy of a look behind their curtain, where interesting personality quirks lurk.

Several on-air interviews with family members of the JCSD suggest they were ignored by hierarchical Establishment who today are suggesting their proactive actions.

The Southern Tier has had more than a few instances of hierarchical Establishment authoritarian behavior against the local community.  They are too numerous to list, but one such reality has taken a step toward mitigation in Vestal, NY.

Sexton says she was motivated to run by what she sees as a board and supervisor that are unresponsive to their constituents. Much of this stems from the debate over The Retreat at Bunn Hill, a housing complex that opponents claim will ruin the rural nature of the area. They move centre-stage only when they get the support of monopoly capital which provides them with ample money and media coverage; and this happens when there is a capitalist crisis that substantially increases unemployment and puts a question mark on the hegemony enjoyed by monopoly capital until then. The role of the fascistic elements in such a situation is to provide a diversion of discourse, so that the basic distress of living under a capitalism afflicted by crisis, is sought to be covered up through the spread of hatred and antagonism against some hapless religious or ethnic or linguistic minority; in addition of course there is the use of State repression when fascistic elements come to power, as well as the unleashing of their own fascist thugs as vigilante groups against the targeted minority, and against thinkers, intellectuals, political opponents and independent academics.

Cronyism has presumed to capture as their own, cynically so, “family values”.  And so the circus goes on.

In the Southern Tier of NYS we see an excellent representation of male v male violence, but not more so than male v female and male v animal-world violence.  Presumption that the crony system is good for the general pubic should be a topic open for discussion.

Some people note a connection between a culture of Establishment “cracking down on activists”, and sheepish non-attention to the effect of Climate Change by newscasters.  —  https://mronline.org/2023/07/10/deadly-hazards-of-capitalist-profit-system/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=deadly-hazards-of-capitalist-profit-system    —

Cronyism on a continuum may lead to organized crime.****

As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate——–

This is a reminder of how much we don’t know.  This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought.  We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate.  Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United.  But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy.  Who knew?
The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbdkuU1edw          —#GreenSocialist Notes #76
Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQ7kn2-GEmM       —

Ross Perot in 1992 on NAFTA and the “Giant Sucking Sound”

Centralization is the lifeblood of the R&D duopoly.  It’s the way to enforce capitalism onto workers in 2022.———————–We can do better———-

That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
