FENCE SITTING
One supposes the moral is that it isn’t so safe to be a meteorological fence sitter during a Climate Change crisis. One commiserates as one who was a financial adviser during an economic meltdown. FACTS must be faced and personal responsibility explored. These are thorny roads when one’s livlihood is involved. Indoctrination into compliance to hierarchical Establishment complicates ability to discern.

One has noticed we have become deeply mired in Climate Change catastrophes with little or no commentary from said meteorologists. We may wish to touch upon this tip of the capitalistic iceberg, as it melts.
In the same way that wealth requires poverty, supremacy requires hierarchical distinction. To acknowledge Affirmative Action requires reasons for the need to be included in supremacy projects in order to so-called thrive in capitalism. https://portside.org/2023-07-09/ambitions-civil-rights-movement-went-far-beyond-affirmative-action?utm_source=portside-general&utm_medium=email – But the demands of the civil rights movement went far beyond affirmative action—a policy that was effective in altering the racial composition of the elite, but left the conditions of most African-Americans unchanged.
The Freedom Budget marked the next stage of the civil rights movement; having won civil and political rights, the movement was now demanding social and economic rights. Had it been adopted, the Freedom Budget would have moved the United States several steps towards a Scandinavian-type social welfare state; in so doing, it would have massively improved the life conditions of not only black Americans, but poor and working-class Americans of all races.–end of portside info–
Supremacy seems apparent in a system that demands complicity to hierarchical Establishment parallel to Establishment challenge to self determination for the public.
https://www.npr.org/2023/07/09/1186690457/tulsa-race-massacre-reparations-lawsuit – The lawsuit was brought under Oklahoma’s public nuisance law, saying the actions of the white mob that killed hundreds of Black residents and destroyed what had been the nation’s most prosperous Black business district continue to affect the city today.

Supremacy requires the ever-present reminder to stay in your lane.
Capitalism rewards and exploits the fence sitters who are too frightened to expound human and natural rights. Those who do are often derided with labels such as socialist. That a word can send millions of otherwise thoughtful people back into the capitalistic traces seems indicative of extreme indoctrination. —
https://popularresistance.org/solidarity-economics-a-path-away-from-capitalist-exploitation/ – Professor Jessica Gordon-Nembhard explores the potential of cooperatives and solidarity economics as pathways towards economic democracy and justice. Drawing on historical examples from the civil rights movement and the Knights of Labor in the 1880s, Nembhard demonstrates how cooperative economics can counteract the exploitation inherent in capitalist systems. She underlines the importance of communal ownership and shared decision-making as mechanisms for wealth redistribution, arguing that such models can liberate communities from economic exploitation. In this alternative approach, power inequities are challenged, and economics becomes a system where everyone can participate and benefit, realizing possibilities through pooled resources and collective action.

I can’t even imagine the reason, considering life in 2023 in the USA, reluctance toward change. What else would we do?

Surveilling of those labeled as activists by Establishment isn’t new. A decade ago during the NYS anti-fracking actions and particularly in Pennsylvania, such monitoring was ubiquitous and frightening. Reports in a local newspaper that a local Sheriff was “moonlighting” with a fossil fuel company didn’t reinforce confidence in justice.

As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate——–
