GROWTH MAKES US POORER
A welcome reminder that we may wish to consider our world from different viewpoints, just as a practice in intellectual honesty.

https://popularresistance.org/economic-growth-is-fuelling-climate-change/ —Saito turns the concept of economic growth on its head. Many people assume that growth makes us richer but what if it did the precise opposite?Gross domestic product (GDP), a monetary measure of production, can rise because someone privatises a common good – what British geographer David Harvey calls “accumulation by dispossession”. Fence a resource that people could previously access for free and start selling it to them.
Instead of perpetually growing the economy by making more things private property and saleable, Saito proposes sharing the wealth we’ve already created. This could usher in a new way of living, where people can afford to spend less time and effort producing commodities and turn their attention towards things that really matter to them, what Marxists call the realm of freedom. This should start, Saito argues, with restoring the health of Earth’s ecosystems, on which everything else relies.

C-Span predictably hosted a call-in on the topic of indictment. Another topic over recent weeks has been about the Chinese Communist Party The phrase CCP is used so often by USCP (United State Capitalist Party) speakers deflecting one-Party criticism by presuming a 2-Party system. And so this morning we have Democrats and Republicans throwing spitballs at each other over the phone (thankfully) while the USCP stirs the pot of controversy.
One has noticed that the chronically-depressing topic that has renamed Social Security Earned Benefits as entitlements, seem to have receded. Reiterating the FACT that the government-sanctioned financial industry has over decades and actually half a century, trained financial practitioners about Social Security Earned Benefits were just that, and not entitlements. It has been mentioned that any presumption that Social Security Earned Benefits are entitlements are indicative of the greatest bait-and-switch fraud in American history.
Questions posed to the highly-collaborative financial-education-industry and government regulation have as yet to be answered on the topic of the curious industry description and the newly politician-promoted description as an entitlement. That both entities collaborated in the confusion leaving such large numbers of retirees in risk, feels like another indication of profits to industry and risk to We The People.
How do these ideas tie together? We are watching the USCP in action while pretending to democracy and freedom. The impact falls negatively on We The People.
We may be trained into delusion from an early age. Some people recognize life as cause and effect. Currently one is reading a fascinating book that is nothing short of a treasure. It is called “The Lost Books of The Bible” by Lloyd M. Graham, and seems to be out of print. Mine is an old edition. That which is included in the current Bible was strained by all-too hierarchical men, apparently leaving out whatever they chose. Included in the book is http://www.orthodox.cn/patristics/apostolicfathers/hermsim.htm
The Hermas Similitudes seem to be the same as found in my book.
One notices the following book seems to be in print by the same author — https://www.amazon.com/Deceptions-Myths-Bible-Lloyd-Graham/dp/0806511249
The Gospel of John (https://www.amazon.com/Secret-Teachings-Jesus-Gnostic-Gospels/dp/0394744330) also uncovers a fascinating interpretation.
Both seem to bring to mind concepts from Buddhism, which seems to be about cause and effect. In FACT quantum physics seem to explain similar concepts. This makes sense since reality is reality, not versions of reality. When one finds threads of reality running through wide-spread times and cultures, one pays attention.
The purported mental health crisis in the US may be nothing other than a habit of skating over the surface without taking the time to dig into the deeper layers. This could feel like a monumentally absurd notion except for the deep trouble the US is in politically, emotionally, and financially. And so the obvious should probably be stated for consideration.

As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-
