NYS has passed legislation that would mandate overtime pay for farm workers after 40-hours-per week.  Some local lawmakers have expressed concern that lack of understanding about the erratic time schedules in farm work will place undue burdens upon farm employers.

Local legislators worry about the burden upon farm-owner employers.  The Founders solved this agrarian problem using denial and slavery.  

One wonders when humanity can come to grips with the reality that hierarchy and human rights are not compatible.

Some people have advocated for a different system from capitalism, that on a continuum becomes organized crime.

Demands of farm work seem to have brought these topics to a head.

The same solution that would work best for the most workers is a worker-run enterprise.
