SURPRISE IS DISENGENUOUS
Intersectionality may illumine some people about that which women……especially white women (to use the phrase coined by Democratic Party campaign strategists)……have too often been aware throughout history.—–
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/jennifer-rourke-jeann-lugo-rhode-island-officer-suspended-for-allegedly-punching-state-senate-candidate/ –Democratic state Senate candidate Jennifer Rourke, the chairwoman of the Rhode Island Political Cooperative, on Saturday morning tweeted video of the alleged assault.
“I’m a reproductive rights organizer & State Senate candidate. Last night, after speaking at our Roe rally, my Republican opponent – a police officer – violently attacked me. This is what it is to be a Black woman running for office. I won’t give up,” she wrote.

Patriarchy seems to have been challenged and the default is typically violence. Violence against nature has been a calling card of this hierarchical Establishment, and that the next target is women’s autonomy was predictable for some people.
https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/martin-niemoeller-first-they-came-for-the-socialists –Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation1:
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

One remembers the paranoia toward so-called socialists in the USA that was theater for political campaigns. Similarly women have been negatively used as a campaign strategy, and curiously with never a mention in 2020 by Democrats on the topic of Choice, which anyone with the ability to think understood was threatened. What’s up with that? Now Democrats say women’s hope is to vote their ticket. Really?
https://www.andrewyang.com/blog — But at the same time, I found myself wondering, “Why didn’t Democrats do something about this when they had the chance?” Democrats commanded legislative majorities multiple times over the last 49 years. They could have codified Roe v. Wade into law. They could have played hardball when Mitch McConnell refused to consider Merrick Garland, which I found to be incredibly cynical and corrosive. They could have asked Ruth Bader Ginsburg to step down while Obama was still in office instead of deferring to her wish to stay in until her health failed.
They didn’t do any of these things, and now the people who will pay the price will be poor women with limited resources in red states.

Climate Change still spreads and the US public, unlike a predominance of industrialized nations that are technologically advanced, still is burdened with a for-profit disease care system rather than a universal health care system. But I voted for Bernie Sanders and then Howie Hawkins in 2020. Explanations from Biden and Trump voters are still missing.

****As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-
This is a reminder of how much we don’t know. This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought. We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.
One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate. Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United. But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy. Who knew?
The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbdkuU1edw —#GreenSocialist Notes #76
Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate. Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary. This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People. Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.
The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.

Centralization is the lifeblood of the R&D duopoly. It’s the way to enforce capitalism onto workers in 2022.
