WHAT IS BLOCKLIST IN MEDIA?

To point to racism in the use of a blocklist is helpful in drawing attention to the problem of the universal FACT of corporate-owned-state-influenced MSM that sets a tone for We The People that seems to funnel humanity through the channel of commercial control that raises the concept of the corruption of “running government like a business”.

The notion of democracy has been useful to hierarchical Establishment as an excuse for too much that is self-serving, as we remember that a component of democracy is Free Speech and a Free Press.  Some people have questioned the overall control of media on the public to the extent of indoctrination.  This notion is ignored as inferior to or dismissive of the popular culture insinuated in this way.  If the concept of racism is suggested as in the following link, perhaps the idea will more easily sink in to otherwise preoccupied minds.—-https://moguldom.com/412732/how-black-owned-media-operate-under-an-apartheid-digital-redlining-system-in-advertising/?utm_source=moengage&utm_medium=push&utm_campaign=subscribed         –“This is a perfect example of white privilege in action. We are literally using our advertising stack to exclude and punish important news coverage because… it feels uncomfortable for us?” Claire wrote, noting financial services company Fidelity Investments was one brand that had the word racism on its blocklist.

There are many sites of control: school, religion, laws, media. These are all generally supportive of the interests of capital, namely, the endless drive to accumulate wealth. C-Span offered an interesting discussion about government funding of religious educational institutions.  —  https://www.c-span.org/video/?521182-4/washington-journal-eric-rassbach-discusses-supreme-courts-ruling-aid-religious-schools     — JUNE 22, 2022 | PART OF WASHINGTON JOURNAL 06/22/2022

Eric Rassbach on the Supreme Court’s Ruling on Aid to Religious Schools

Eric Rassbach talked about the Supreme Court ruling that the state of Maine may not exclude religious schools from a state tuition program.

–c-span info–

Several thoughts on this topic that hasn’t been raised—-

***The guest continually suggested the inclusive character of this ruling because it applies to Christians, Jews, and Muslims.  Does it only apply to faiths of the Bible and if so, how is that inclusive?

***A growing portion of the US population is reported as being Asian.  Does this include, for example, Buddhism, Taoism, or any of the many non-Bible perspectives?

***Should temples, churches and mosques be subject to taxes as they step up for governmental funding and if not, why not?

***Are Native faiths excluded as arbitrarily as they have been harmed by Establishment institutionalized faiths such as has been reported recently.

***Are other nature faiths included in such access to funding?

***Concerns are legitimate when we remember past abuse—-http://ili.nativeweb.org/sdrm_art.html –When Christopher Columbus first set foot on the white sands of Guanahani island, he performed a ceremony to “take possession” of the land for the king and queen of Spain, acting under the international laws of Western Christendom. Although the story of Columbus’ “discovery” has taken on mythological proportions in most of the Western world, few people are aware that his act of “possession” was based on a religious doctrine now known in history as the Doctrine of Discovery. Even fewer people realize that today – five centuries later – the United States government still uses this archaic Judeo-Christian doctrine to deny the rights of Native American Indians.

As one who is not for or against this ruling, it seems more information is required, along with ongoing monitoring to avoid abuse by those in power, privilege, and aggression.

Awareness is an important, interesting, and often ignored topic.  Generally we take our breathing for granted so we can get other things done.  But to become aware of breathing from time to time opens the door to deeper ideas and perceptions.

https://psyche.co/guides/how-to-breathe-your-way-to-better-health-and-transcendence?utm_source=Aeon+Newsletter&utm_campaign=325f3a54d9-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2022_06_20_05_07&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_411a82e59d-325f3a54d9-70464341       –Yet, despite the importance of the breath and the rising popularity of breathwork, so many people never give any consideration to this fundamental aspect of life. If it weren’t for our autonomic nervous system, I bet many of us would probably die by just forgetting to breathe while reading an email.

On the topic of awareness, one wishes to share once more the irony of the Trump tariffs, that were imposed without questioning, and appear to provide nothing other than a tax on the American consumer.  Should questions be asked?

8:40AM–caller–paraphrase—-speak to tariffs.

Guest–paraphrase–tariffs don’t cause inflation.

With all due respect, what a nothing answer.  This was another hierarchical Establishment deflection.  Let’s consider the Trump tariffs put in place by another so-called economic expert Trump.  Why use tariffs?  Traditionally the reason was that we, in our moments of sanity as a nation, desired more exports than imports.  The reason was that wealth was flowing into the USA, rather than leaving the USA.  Tariffs made foreign goods more expensive for consumers to buy than US-made goods, increasing employment and indeed manufacturing and retail profits for corporations in the USA.  In a sane nation with sane leaders, tariffs would be used to encourage US consumers to purchase US-made products to increase imports that would enrich the USA.  Now that we are working off of principles of lunacy with economic clowns in charge, tariffs are nothing but a tax on consumers, with said tax going to the US government for no specific reason.  Capisce?….or in English Capeesh?….And so we veer down the economic highway like a gang of drunken sailors as we “run government like a business”, right off the road and into a tree….

Since our trade agreements by US Administrations that sent US manufacturing overseas, bankrupting the US economy, there is no reason to impose a tariff on imports, which are NOT paid by foreign manufacturers or nations, but are paid by US consumers.

For what reason do we have tariffs on products?  This is absolutely nothing but a tax on consumers.  This is a Trump tariff.  Joe Biden is not addressing this.  Both Administrations are screwing the US public.  The US public seem too intellectually constipated to realize this.

And by the way, the urban-hero Obama was manic in favor of TPP, which was a trade agreement that supported sending US manufacturing overseas, but also violated human and environmental rights of local US communities to reinforcement control by commercial interests; which feels quite fascist to some people.  As Zerlina Maxwell said, “everybody does it”.  Indeed…..

****As one who would be perfectly contented to retain the Senate if they adhered to Oaths of Office more than to Citizens United campaign donations, one is interested in a topic raised as to the reason we maintain the US Senate—-

This is a reminder of how much we don’t know.  This brings one around to Howie Hawkins, who continues to impress with original thought.  We also could acknowledge Hawkins often speaks to censored information.

One such topic about which one would never have even considered, is whether the USA needs The Senate.  Apparently The Senate is little other than expensive window dressing, promoting hierarchical interests, and too often placed in positions of power by big-money via Citizens United.  But the public gets to fund this curiosity of pompous supremacy.  Who knew?

The Democratic Branch of the Republican/Democratic Duopoly are especially functional in voter suppression—–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNbdkuU1edw          —#GreenSocialist Notes #76

Howie Hawkins brings up the concept of whether the USA needs the Senate.  Apparently according to some people, the Senate isn’t necessary.  This brings up the blockage from the Senate of many bills that would benefit We The People.  Combined with Citizens United that promotes big-money interest choice of Senators, in which laws are passed that benefit big-money interest rather than We The People, and that We The People support economically, the members of the Senate, this seems a good topic for discussion.

The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
