C-Span hosts public discussion about recent events. One such topic was a mass shooting in Buffalo, NY that has been called by authorities as racially motivated. The presumed perpetrator seems to have lived in the Southern Tier of NYS.
Several thoughts–*Bureaucrats in the area have called for a “crack-down” on activists*So far the “activists” appear to be honest local citizens urging human rights, civil rights, and environmental rights*Cuomo enacted gun laws to attempt to filter gun ownership away from people who exhibit an inability to handle the responsibility of gun ownership*The same bureaucrat announced he would not enforce the Cuomo gun laws*The same bureaucrat attempted to install a law-enforcement shooting range in a peaceful local community*A shooting range may seem acceptable if a police state is anticipated, but some local communities may prefer a peaceful community environment*Curiously in this same region several police shootings and killing of local gun owners has happened*Something garbled seems to manifest in the messaging from some local bureaucrats*As one who is not a Democrat, one has watched Kathy Hocul attempt governance that supports local communities rather than the hierarchical authority enforced by power and control
If one dares to raise this distinction, the choices seem to be patriarchal hierarchical chauvinism or governance that uphold principles of the US Constitution that may be briefly described in the Preamble—“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America…

One anticipates the calls to uphold the 2nd Amendment, which I do; but within the guidelines suggested in the Preamble. Instead The Constitution seems abused into an excuse for fascism.
When such policy is inflicted against foreign nations, a result seems to be the military actions between Russia and Ukraine.
About the disagreement about the Cuomo gun laws, this isn’t to promote or reject said law, due to lack of interest and ignorance on the topic. This is however to shine a light on those expressing enforcement of the law will not happen, while at the same time bureaucrats have demanded laws to “crack-down” on local citizens they have labeled as activists. Especially when law enforcement too often appears to function as protecting big-money interests rather than human and environmental rights, a police state seems like the result.
Another manifestation unfolding from our out-of-balance governance that is tending toward fascism can be seen in the anticipated Roe v. Wade Supreme Court meanderings that within our capitalistic system in which everything is based on financial results, women are supposed to function in a manner compliant and supportive of interests of our patriarchal hierarchy.
This anomaly between the US Constitutional principles and the fascism that seems to rise in the USA and extended overseas to foreign nations byway of foreign policy, was once excused with the notion that voters chose elected officials. This notion has become tenuous with the Supreme Court decision that gave us Citizens United and opened the door to corruption in our electoral process. Politicians and bureaucrats seem more nearly influenced by funding then by their constituents.
One is desolate over some bureaucratic disregard for the interests and concerns of local community members in the Southern Tier. A guest on an MSNBC show yesterday suggested a problem is that in the USA it seems easier to get an assault rifle than to get baby formula. In other words, it’s not the gun, it’s the underlying mindset. In still other words laws to “crack down” on activists while expressing reluctance to enforce gun laws, for example in NYS, is a curious mindset.

South Africa has a history of imperialism from Europe in which most of us are aware of Apartheid. This transfers to the USA as a black and white issue. Lost is the reality of treatment toward Native Americans, who are said to be the inspiration for the US Constitution.
