MIDDLEMEN AND HEALTH

You would be informed by listening to the following hearing on health care.  One notes the typically precious comments from who seems to be a snarky Graham, as he asks who in the health care system produces the tomatoes.  If you listen to this hearing, it will make sense.

You would be informed by listening to the following hearing on health care.  One notes the typically precious comments from who seems to be a snarky Graham, as he asks who in the health care system produces the tomatoes.  If you listen to this hearing, it will make sense.

To answer Mr. Graham, the tomatoes will still be produced by the family, hopefully local-community producers, but what will be removed is the middleman.  Do middlemen figure in Citizens United and www.alec.org?  Just asking.
Implicit is to confuse 1-payer with 1-provider.  A distinct difference exists.  Mr. Graham probably understands the difference, suggesting obfuscation.

As to his demand for a vote on Medicare-for-all, Sanders commented we also need a vote to get rid of Citizens United.  In FACT, due to corruption in our electoral process in which politicians are placed in the legislature by big-money interests, purchased politicians will indeed do the bidding of industry rather than of We The People.  This is contrary to principles in the US Constitution.
A fellow talks to the reasons we shouldn’t have what he labels socialist health care.  He brings up a dropping US GDP.  This is not due to socialist ideas, but rather to manic capitalism that sent production overseas to enrich commercial interests.  A time in recent memory included the negativity of imports that hurt the US GDP.  Now we have nothing but imports that enable enrichment of oligarchs, resulting in our strained supply chain, and not to put too fine a point on it, but this gentleman mentioned the current baby formula crisis as though it had to do with anything other than capitalistic overreach and disregard for We The People.

Matt Lewis Discusses His Podcast “Matt Lewis & the News”

“Matt Lewis & the News” podcast host Matt Lewis discusses his podcast and news of the day.–end of c-span info–
9:44AM–mattlewis—-paraphrase—–“Republicans are the Party of the working man…..and woman”
This questionable statement by Matt Lewis, in one inexpert opinion, followed several other curious non-starters of ideas  The guest labels himself as a Reagan Conservative.  He wants to uphold Reagan ideas (apparently including the trickle-down theory which was a transfer of wealth from the 100% to the 1%), and which Reagan promoted interests of those who are currently American oligarchs.  Yes, let’s do more of that, Matt.
Tea-Party Republicans who are currently in power, could display as the Party of the working man…..and woman, if not for Citizens United, proving that greed knows no political Party bounds.
9:25AM–guest Mattlewis–paraphrase–Abortion will not be a hot-button issue.
This is a male-centric view, in one person’s opinion.  Abortion is the topic of the time; and one has been baffled that the Democratic Presidential campaign of 2020 totally ignored this topic, while using misogyny as a campaign strategy……especially toward white women……to use the Democratic-campaign strategy phrase coined by that Party and used ad nauseum in 2020.
On the topic of women’s choice and autonomy, one doesn’t understand a reason to vote for either branch of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.
The conversation on C-Span today was largely about the broken US supply chain, which must be laid at the door of globalism in which manufacturing was to given foreign nations.7:28AM–caller–paraphrase–(commenting on Mitch McConnell who is distressed over the American lack of baby formula)–Mitch McConnell is a politician running the nation, why doesn’t he do something about the supply-chain fiasco….
As one who has also wondered at the strident claims of bad government in the USA from those running the government, these calls of distress are a deflection, it seems, about the negligence of those involved.
However, in funding the Russia/Ukraine military action, politicians are active at their post and sending US taxpayer money to foreign nations to “protect American interests” that translates into supporting commercial interests for oligarchs both American and foreign.
This US system seems the personification of “Western values” that are demanded that foreign nations accept upon pain of military action.  This policy seems questionable.  If this assumption is wrong, one wishes to hear precisely which “Western values” are meant, as we send billions of dollars to Ukraine.
Do it like we do—–https://www.desmog.com/2022/05/09/oregon-nw-natural-gas-rate-increase-earthjustice/      –NW Natural, a gas utility based in Oregon, is seeking to raise gas bills on its customers in order to pay for millions in executive bonuses, higher returns to shareholders, and a larger advertising budget. It is also hoping to saddle ratepayers with costs associated with the utility’s political activities, in which the company engaged in “misleading” marketing to perpetuate the use of gas at a time when the state is attempting to electrify homes and businesses, a coalition of environmental organizations led by Earthjustice argue in a formal proceeding.–end of desmog info–       Fascism lives.

Ceciline–D–RI–(quoted on C-Span describing a number of monopolies in the USA. )    This could bring to mind for anyone with a functioning memory, the Obama “fast track” mania for TPP that sent our manufacturing to foreign nations, along with American jobs.
Portions of the public have been trained like rats in a maze to respond negatively  to the word socialism like a tinkling of a bell that precedes feeding of said lab animal.   I reject the concept of lab animals, but also believe those experiments are used to control the public.  Call it a conspiracy if you wish, but it works.  Meanwhile, fascism is becoming mainstream.https://mailchi.mp/nader/the-new-corporate-dictators-super-rich-super-immune-pqjhbfeirc?e=cfd1bea9b5       –The dictatorship over consumers is most unprecedented. Whereas the old dictatorial bosses – pre-unions – had control over worker’s lives at the workplace, today’s corporate dictators can ply their power 24/7. They can get into the minds of people to addict them and have their personal lives invaded and their personal information offered for sale all over the globe. The old bosses used child labor until the early 20th century, but then kids were largely off limits.–end of ralphnader info–

I am interested in the people of the inspiration for the US Constitution to be placed a wider array of leadership   —   From lakota law——-We remain 100 percent focused on our ongoing fight to end the Dakota Access pipeline (DAPL), despite the turmoil in the world around us. As you’ll see in a new video we co-produced with Standing Rock, a strong coalition among South Dakota’s tribal nations has formed to get it done. In the video, you’ll hear from Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Chairwoman Janet Alkire, Oglala Sioux Tribe President Kevin Killer, and Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Chairman Harold Frazier. It’s the first in a planned series that will delve more deeply into the complex issues faced by the tribes in their fight to stop DAPL — a pipeline which continues to operate without a permit for its crossing under Lake Oahe just north of the Standing Rock Nation.Chairwoman Alkire has been actively relaying tribal concerns directly to Michael Connor, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works. She recently returned from a meeting with him, in which she discussed the lack of transparency concerning DAPL’s oil spill response plan for the Missouri River and the terrible safety track record of its parent company, Energy Transfer. As detailed in a press release from the tribe, over a recent 8-year period, nine pipelines owned and controlled by Energy Transfer and its affiliated companies experienced nearly 300 spills — including 50 large ones in vulnerable areas like Lake Oahe.Until this pipeline has a valid Environmental Impact Statement and federal permit, it is operating in violation of the laws designed to safeguard our people, our delicate water systems, and our sacred homelands. We must keep the pressure on U.S. leaders to do the right thing and shut DAPL down. Please watch our video, stay tuned for the next chapters, and be ready when the time comes to take action together.Wopila tanka — thank you for standing with Standing Rock and the entire Oceti Sakowin!

The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.

That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.

Regardless of which character sits in the Oval Office, We The People have work to do to maintain principles of our democratic (small d) Constitutional republic.  Several items to challenge—*We need the integrity of ranked-choice voting so voters won’t feel compelled to “hold your nose and vote”*Censored debates must be stopped.  The Democratic/Republican duopoly pretends to legitimate debates in what is nothing other than another campaign show.  Independent debates run by uninterested sponsors such as The League of Women Voters, must be restored.  (Access www.debates.org to understand the extent of duopoly control).  The so-called Debate Commission is a corporation to promote the Democratic corporation and Republican corporation, not to inform We The People*Challenge and stop gerrymandering that is a trick especially of the Republican branch of the duopoly.*Stop voter suppression by political Parties, and especially confront and stop Party suppression, which is the over-arching approach to voter suppression.  Party suppression seems to have been the responsibility of the Democratic corporation*Promote by law ranked-choice voting, so we won’t be told again, by D&R duopoly, to “hold your nose and vote”
If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.

WITHDRAWS SUPPORT FROM FINAL PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE–end of lwv info–Murray Bookchin, who founded social ecology, a theory that strongly influenced early Green Socialist thought, strongly advocated the discussion and study group as the first step of any revolutionary movement. A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
Along with Climate Change, many people oppose the imperialism of the USA under control of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.  Use of the wealth of our nation should be to enhance quality of life for We The People rather than for imperialism.  Some people vote accordingly.I———————–That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.
