WHEN POLITICIAN PRIORITIES AREN’T THE PUBLIC

Misinformation on social media is conceivably displaced by misinformation reported on state-influenced/corporate-owned media.  This is a reason the responsibility of each person is to investigate information personally rather than to take ideas of others as FACTual.
https://www.nrdc.org/stories/climate-misinformation-social-media-undermining-climate-action?source=EMOCT11INF&utm_source=alert&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=email           —Researchers at Indiana University have identified three separate but interrelated kinds of bias that, in their words, “make the social media ecosystem vulnerable to both intentional and accidental misinformation.”–end of nrdc info—-
Commercial interests and their political minions ask We The People, on the topic of Climate Change, not to believe our own lying eyes.

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/exxon-knew-about-climate-change-almost-40-years-ago/     –Exxon was aware of climate change, as early as 1977, 11 years before it became a public issue, according to a recent investigation from InsideClimate News.–end of scientificamerican info–
Information disclosed as understood 40 years ago that fossil fuel use would exacerbate Climate Change followed by propaganda that Climate Change is not real, calls into question logic of the public.
Hierarchical Establishment has prospered under the current system of capitalism but not so the majority of the public.  The promise of capitalism was that it would offer the widest good to the pubic; but FACTually speaking, capitalism is theoretically a system of transference of well-being from the 100% to the 1%, and actual results bear this out.  Again, the public is asked by hierarchy to disbelieve their own eyes and experience.
This is a reason as one contemplates the importance of nature and human rights, one prefers not to pretend that doing the same thing will give us different results.  We are demanding infinite growth using finite resources, and this is a fools game.  Those who maintain a posture that we can have infinite growth using finite resources seem to advocate a system in which we have winners and losers.  In FACT, a past-President Obama spoke to this very topic as he vehemently advocated for TPP that included language that gave priority to multi-national corporate profiteering over natural rights and human rights, as he also admitted that “there will be winners and losers”.  Yes, there are always winners and losers, but when legislation and governmental policy choose who wins and who loses, this seems like dictatorship.

Is the FACT of objection from some quarters to saying fascism is real in the Ukraine, is to sell to a US public who have been indoctrinated into comfort with the same in the USA?  Ukrainian debt that has been reported as promoting oligarchs, probably will more readily be forgiven by the USA, than will American student debt—-https://socialistproject.ca/2022/05/why-should-ukraines-debt-be-cancelled/#more   —SD: Is there an important part of the Ukrainian debt illegitimate?
ET: The answer is yes: the overwhelming majority of the Ukrainian debt, if not the entire part, is illegitimate. It was not contracted in the interest of the population, it was accumulated in the interest of the richest 1% and international creditors; at the expense of a dramatic deterioration in the social rights and living conditions of the population. This took place before the outbreak of war and the Russian invasion of Ukrainian territory which took place twice, in 2014 and in February 2022.–end of socialistproject info–

Big banks and insurers are talking out of both sides of their mouth, saying one day that they’re committed to reducing emissions, while funding companies expanding fossil fuels the next. The shareholders of Citi, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo recently voted on resolutions demanding they stop financing fossil fuel expansion. C-Span—-1:30PM—-5/6/2022—Democrat Jeanne Shaheen of NH promoted funding for the NASA Budget for 2023.  There is surely a place for said science, but one is uncomfortable with the tone used in excusing use of funds from US taxpayers.  Ms. Shaheen spoke of “global competition” in such matters. She also spoke of her visit to BAE System, where she was informed funding would be helpful not only for space research, but also for the F-35.https://www.baesystems.com/en-us/product/f-35#:~:text=BAE%20Systems%20brings%20its%20military,the%20world’s%20largest%20defence%20programme.      –F-35 is the world’s largest defence programme. Led by the US, with participation from the UK, Italy, Netherlands, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Norway and Turkey, it is a truly collaborative programme aimed at delivering a stealthy, multi-role attack aircraft capable of operating from land and sea to nations across the globe.–end of BAEsystem info–Ms. Shaheen spoke to NSF and NASA being critical to promote BAE Systems.
The C-Span presentation raises serious concerns about use of taxpayer funds to promote commercial interests, while the US public is spiraling further into 3rd-world life status, with examples of an educational system that promotes capitalism over ability to self-govern and understand concepts of the US Constitution, a predatory and industrial disease-care system rather than a 1-payer public health care policy, failing infrastructure with most notably the energy grid, and Climate Change that is harming if not killing people and environment.
Add to this the FACT of military-grade weapons that the US strews over the globe like candy at a Halloween parade, and the compulsion of Establishment toward global competition that supports interests of world oligarchs including those in the USA over local-community people, and the way the wealth of the USA is spent by big-money-interest-purchased politicians should be discussed.
Please note that the appearance of war that inflicts pain and suffering on local communities while oligarchs of each nation remain if not prosper, above the fray, is the FACT, and not an anomaly.  In other words, the wars aren’t in FACT as much one nation against another as it is the higher echelon of each nation against local communities of each nation.

The US Constitution doesn’t seem to sanction elections run by political Parties, and to permit control of political debates by political Parties seems equally corrupt.

That “we are a 2-Party system” is a fabrication of the Republican/Democratic duopoly and spread by MSM.  In FACT the majority of voters aren’t either registered Democratic or Republican.  The censorship about this info must be envied by bureaucrats of the Former USSR and their simplistic style of 1-Party elections.
