Is anyone else feeling the embarrassment of threats by the USA of sanctioning other nations?  Joe Biden asked the Middle East to ramp up oil production to ease the upward spiral of gasoline costs in the USA and they said no.  Is this a sanction?  China possesses American jobs used to manufacture products needed by the American public and with China in control of the amount if any of the products getting to the USA.  Is this a sanction?  

American sanctions against Russia can easily be mitigated by other nations.  Any threat to sanction China is just absurd.  Almost as absurd as current threats.  Russia has a long history of protecting its boarders that have over centuries been threatened by the West.  The USA wasn’t settled by Russia.  Is US threats more nearly projection, along with being a cover for our own imperialism that is beyond denial.
History is written by the so-called winners who seldom shoulder the burden of the costs of war.  We need to act accordingly.  Joe Biden warns of the costs to the US public if Russia invades the Ukraine.  Really?  How does he figure; unless he prophesies the same type of costs such as inflation that comes back to the general public as corporations show historical profit.  
Little to nothing has been said about Biden business connections in the Ukraine.  If reports are FACTual, Biden may be in an extreme conflict of interest situation.  The American people deserve answers about these insinuations before the USA goes to war to protect possible personal interests.
The first responsibility of government is to protect the public and recent Administrations have been extraordinarily remiss in this function.
