This seems to be an excellent way to ratchet into power, women of color who have not joined the capitalistic hierarchical Establishment which connection to Establishmen requires said politicians promote a system that doesn’t uphold universal female needs or interests.
Especially critical are the matters of little/no personal wealth or access to wealth and a working background.  This opens the door to views that support the majority of the electorate who are currently shut out of the discussion.  If the views and requirements translated into a healthy society, obsession with their views could be necessary.  But the state of the world and especially the USA seems to be evidence that obsession to promote the 1% isn’t healthy for a nation.

Interests from patriarchy seem to promote our current capitalistic hierarchical Establishment society to the exclusion of interests for family life and nature.  In other words people and nature are seen by patriarchy as fodder for production for profit for hierarchy.  Capitalists have explained this is the best way to “raise people out of poverty”, which is a concept that has yet to be defined or attained.  Indoctrination seems to render many in the public compliant to this system.

A group of individuals meets to expand their knowledge of radical thought and form a radical intellectual community; through the give and take of discussion, can eventually form ideas for next steps in organizing and political activity. According to Bookchin, study groups help create solidarity and a shared language — with a shared coherent vision — for building a mass, organizing, political movement!
