LIFE AND ART
As we watch capitalism falter and fail in the USA as surely as did communism in the Former USSR, we might imagine this moment as living in accordance with art rather than according to the dictates of a hierarchical Establishment, both of which are capitalism and communism. One also imagines that due to physical uniqueness, women often understand first hand that life is art. Money is nice, but art is the connection to that from which we emanate.

This isn’t to say many men aren’t also attune to art in life.https://mailchi.mp/nader/critical-exposs-the-corporate-state-worsens-iifgzvt9kx?e=cfd1bea9b5 —Franklin Delano Roosevelt in his 1938 message to Congress warned that when private power becomes stronger than the democratic state itself, we have Fascism. There are many ways to witness the intensifying domination toward a corporate state. One way is to compare exposébooks in the 1960s and the present.
Take a look at 65 recent searing books about corporate violence and malfeasance, crushing influence over our electoral and political systems, and expanding immunities from law enforcement and public accountability.
Despite the many books on corporate crooks, there have been no corporate crime law reforms, no additional prosecutions of these CEOs, not even comprehensive congressional or state legislative hearings. The corporate crooks at the top of giant companies still get away with profiting from their corporate crime wave. None of the top Wells Fargo executives or Opioid’s promoters or the sellers of dangerous products and chemicals are facing prosecution. You have to steal a loaf of bread or get caught with a miniscule amount of heroin or cocaine to be incarcerated.–end of ralphnader info–
C-Span offered a mix of topics this morning, quite heavily about mandates and vaccines. aside from this attention to our health, one caller spoke to entrenched interests in government–8:30AM–caller–paraphrase–We have an entrenched elite who are white men who are trying to retain power.
One’s particular definition is patriarchy. Call it what you will. Another definition could be dictatorship.’
The underlying reason for violence in our nation whether it be physical, institutional or emotional hasn’t changed since the beginning of the USA, and in FACT before that time when colonization first began from Europe.
One notices a disturbing similarity between a politically hand-picked Supreme Court line-up of hacks and the self-promoted so-called leaders within the Puritan community in New England of 400 years ago, as they hunted out and murdered those they labeled as witches, a majority of which were women. Everyone is peripherally aware of the literal witch hunts of New England, but one suspects this FACT isn’t taken as reality. If this FACT was acknowledged as our history, we might be more aware of the attention by hierarchical Establishment that one personally calls patriarchy, toward controlling women in 2021.
If history was acknowledged FACTually rather than as a fairy tale to be brought out on Halloween, maybe a louder challenge would have been supported against use of misogyny in the 2021 Democratic campaign strategies, especially toward white women, to use the phrase coined by the Democratic campaign strategists, some of them posing as authority in their self-labeled position as clergy.
This is another reason one refuses to accept the propaganda without question, that we are a 2-Party system, which is false, when one watches the good-cop-bad-cop pony show of the Republican/Democratic duopoly.
These are also reasons one supports passage of the Equal Rights Amendment. https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/equal-rights-amendment-passed-by-congress#:~:text=On%20March%2022%2C%201972%2C%20the,on%20the%20basis%20of%20sex. –First proposed by the National Woman’s political party in 1923, the Equal Rights Amendment was to provide for the legal equality of the sexes and prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex. More than four decades later, the revival of feminism in the late 1960s spurred its introduction into Congress.–end of history info–

The curiosity that the 2020 Presidential campaign included nothing about the matter of a woman’s right to control her own body, even though everyone knew this was the leading topic of our time, is quite telling. That the ERA was promoted by the same Feminists of the ’70’s who in recent decades have been derided as excessive in demanding liberty and equality, by the same ladies currently about to lose said rights, may be healthy because the opportunity for young ladies to be involved intimately seems to support self-esteem and autonomy.

News Review With B.J. Martino and Jim Manley
Republican pollster B.J. Martino and Democratic strategist Jim Manley talked about the previous week’s political headlines as well as the Biden administration agenda and campaigns 2022 and 2024.–end of c-span info–11:50AM–Jim Manley–paraphrase–I’m curious that we are toward the end of our show and we haven’t had one question about abortion. (Indeed, one has found the silence from the Democratic/Republican duopoly on this topic equally unsettling. This feels as though the rights of women are so deeply presumed to be under the control of patriarchy as to be a non-issue.)
11:58AM–B.J. Martino–paraphrase–When a Party ignores issues close to the interests of voters, they lose the support of those voters. For instance catering to “The Squad” is out of touch with voters. (This is pure fantasy when one reminds that “The Squad” are a diverse group of women who specifically speak to the “kitchen table” issues of voters. This insinuation from Martino seems a direct attempt at propaganda by subverting the FACTS.)
The curiosity of misogyny surely isn’t limited to the USA—-https://socialistproject.ca/2021/12/dangers-of-working-class-womens-football/#more–But the Canadian women’s soccer win could also be viewed in light of decades of social and political struggle over the rights of women to simply play ‘football’. The fact is that exactly 100 years ago today, on December 5th, 1921, England’s Football Association (FA) officially banned women from playing the game under their authority – no use of their grounds, no support from their teams, not even accessing their referees and officials.–end of socialistproject info–Questions about environmental integrity count—https://waterfrontonline.blog/2021/12/03/shares-of-greenidge-tumble-after-sen-elizabeth-warren-asks-companys-ceo-about-dresden-plants-ghg-emissions/ –DRESDEN, Dec. 3, 2021 — Shares of Greenidge Generation Holdings Inc. tumbled 15 percent Friday, the day after Sen. I find it odd that Americans, who grew up in a country that supposedly taught the scientific method, the importance of Free Speech and the right of questioning authority, have sunk so quickly into ignorance of all three, combined with support of totalitarianism. How did that happen?–end of facebook post—-
Received from lakotalaw—In the spirit of wopila, I thank you sincerely if you attended our Wopila Gathering this past Giving Tuesday. It was a wonderful day to connect with you and share stories, art, music, and wisdom from so many corners of the Indigenous universe. If you missed it, take heart. I encourage you to watch the entire program here — and we’ll also be sending you some highlights soon.In addition to thanking you for supporting us through thick and thin, I want to share some joy about the recent passage of the $1 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Are you aware of all its provisions for Indian Country? It could really bolster our ability to assist Lakota Country’s tribal nations over the coming years!
The bill’s many promising provisions for Native communities include funding for climate and energy resilience, water and mine cleanup, improvement of our roads and bridges, build out of our broadband capabilities, and restoration of our ecosystems.
Our friendship with our new Standing Rock Chairwoman, Janet Alkire, could help us make big inroads on environmental justice issues — including allocating federal money to support my tribe in setting an example for the region on renewable energy. Sadly, North Dakota still gets roughly 70 percent of its electricity from coal. That’s unacceptable, and we’ll stand in support of wind and other renewable projects throughout Lakota Country.
Over time, our Cheyenne River organizer, Madonna Thunder Hawk, would also like to establish a utility commission at her home nation to oversee energy and water policy for her tribe. We have brand new opportunities to go after federal support to help us toward energy autonomy and green jobs for our people!
It’s truly an exciting moment, filled with possibilities, and I can’t thank you enough. Every vision we create and each plan we bring to fruition starts with the support you show us.Wopila tanka — thank you for standing with our Lakota nations!

Patriarchy thrives in capitalism and capitalism is supported by patriarchy. The goals are exploitation, privilege, and satiated greed. Money figures large in this formula, and this promotes corruption. — https://portside.org/2021-12-04/our-new-art-appreciation-billionaire-style –These sorts of price-tags have rocketed the world of fine art into a visual space totally foreign to the lives that the vast majority of us are leading. We go about our daily existences enveloped by commercial kitsch. The super wealthy live amid visual splendor — and get to portray themselves, in the process, as selfless benefactors of fine art, guardians of our world’s finest artistic achievements. But this mega-rich-as-our-cultural-salvation narrative has everything upside down. The wealthy of the world aren’t saving art’s future. They’re choking it, shrinking both the potential audience for fine art and the pool of fine art creators.–end of portside info–
Life is art and We The People are the artists. Tolerance of injection of greed, privilege, and exploitation diminishes both life and people due to money. Money propels corruption.
Integrity is the ability and choice to act accordingly. This is a reason one rejects such patriarchal sycophantic language such as “everyone does it”, made notorious by Zerlina Maxwell in reference to Obama. One wouldn’t condemn Ms. Maxwell for her view, but one would question the notion.
Many people following Nature Way lifestyle quietly incorporate true art into their lives devoid of greed and fanfare. Art seems to be that unique connection that refers to mind.
We have much work to do.
We deserve better. https://www.lwv.org/newsroom/press-releases/league-refuses-help-perpetrate-fraud–LEAGUE REFUSES TO “HELP PERPETRATE A FRAUD”
