Thomas Allyn was charged with “homicide by misadventure” and found guilty of murder in December. He paid a twenty pound fine. Three years later, with no explanation, the Connecticut court refunded Allyn’s fine and charged Lydia Gilbert with causing the death of Stiles by witchcraft. The USA is said to backslide as relates to being a democracy.  If the USA could admit human rights apply to women and that to use women as enablers is a revolting presumption, maybe we could deal in the reality of use of women to promote patriarchy, the differences that are female, and the right to function in that capacity without projection from patriarchy or hierarchy.
One raises the curious use of the phrase witch hunt by Trump as he placed upon the Supreme Court the characters who seem intent upon dictating to women the use of women’s bodies.  But one also recalls the use of misogyny by the Democratic Presidential Primary campaign strategists.
Consider 400 years of history, following the same in Europe from which Colonists fled ostensibly for “religious freedom”.  Whose religious freedom would that be?

If these issues are handled, our next elections can be honorable.
