SARAN WRAP NATION
Civilization works more fairly and equality when families, including women and children, are taken seriously.
https://www.aol.com/news/melinda-french-gates-donate-1b-111806504.html—-Melinda French Gates says she will be donating $1 billion over the next two years to individuals and organizations working on behalf of women and families globally, including on reproductive rights in the United States.
“Women in 14 states have lost the right to terminate a pregnancy under almost any circumstances. We remain the only advanced economy without any form of national paid family leave. And the number of teenage girls experiencing suicidal thoughts and persistent feelings of sadness and hopelessness is at a decade high,” she said.

As one who has received derogatory comments over the last 30 years or so, during which time one has warned that taking for granted the work of militant Feminists during the ’60’s and ’70’s that had become the popular attitude of young ladies, one is not happy to see one’s fears come true. Having lived through the misogyny of those times, that women didn’t learn the lessons is appalling.
One is thankful for Melinda French Gates who recognizes the problem of inequality
One is interested in the modern-day presumption that patriarchy welcomed with open arms, women into real life. More often they were a bulwark denigrating the women with “chips on shoulders”.
It has only been recently that women expect equality as normal. Meanwhile types such as Ms. Alito are defending patriarchy; similar to the Phyllis Shlafly advise who had to be contended with back in the day, when she described to women how to keep happy their men, perhaps by meeting him at the door wrapped in Saran Wrap.. What was up with that? https://www.quora.com/What-did-Phyllis-Schlafly-do-that-caused-the-vitriol-against-her-when-she-died–She built a brand based on a reactionary belief that men wouldn’t be as taken care of as they would have been if their nasty feminist wives just learned their place.
Was she fair when she preached that women should be restricted to the house, meek and subservient to their lords and masters? AKA their husbands.
Was she fair when she campaigned against the right to choose an abortion? No. She was not. However she herself managed to have a a very fine political and pundit career. She wrote books about it spilling her vile perspective everywhere.
